Volume 31: should I stay or should I go? pt.2

*Ana's P.O.V*

I was dazed in my memories for a while and I didn't even realize it. The sun was now going down and if I'd want to catch up to Xander i"ll need to get a move on. I ran downstairs and into the kitchen before sliding open a few drawers.

fuck where is it...

I thought before something clicked.

Xander must have taken the gun.

I mentally sighed before searching my pockets for my pocket knife. Gladly, I still had it but then, I noticed a pack of smokes sitting on the counter. I happily took them before going over to the house phone and dialing in Xander's number. It rang a few times before going to voice mail and then I tried again but still, it was no answer. I grumbled before walking out the door. I lit up a cigarette as I walked and walked. A big gust of cold wind blew which made shivers go up to my spine. I began to reconsider my choice of clothing heavily, I wore a pair of black skinny jeans with a plain black tee and finally a very thin and dark blue hoodie I found around the house. Minutes passed before I found a payphone that was across the street from a bar.I ran over and inserted what was needed to make the call.

I then dialed in Xander's phone number and to utter surprise, he actually answered!

"Hello?" he sadly croaked. His voice was very deep and raspy, it sounded as if he was crying for hours.

"Um it's me, Ana, I'm sorry I took so long to reply but...Can you pick me up please?" I asked while chewing on my bottom lip.

"Where are you babe?" he asked.

"I'm across the street from a bar called-"

"Moes, alright I know where you are. I'll be there in a few minutes, I've got a ride that I'm sure you'll like," he said perking up a bit. I can still hear the sadness in his voice though which made my heartache.

He then hung up as I put the phone back on its holder. I then took a long drag of my cancer stick before letting out a big puff of wind.

"Hey, there pretty lady! You look like you can use some help over there!" A guy yelled from across the street. He then started walking over before I facepalmed.

"I'm fine, I don't need your help," I told him cooly.

"Nah" he simply said before taking one of my hands and kissing it. He had on some very good looking shades and in all honesty, I was sort of digging.

"Nice jacket, I want it," I told him before he smirked. I took another drag at my cigarette before blowing out the smoke.

"Oh, you do? And what will I get in return?" he asked before smirking.

"I'll give you my number and perhaps we can hang out one day, is that enough?" I offered him before he chuckled getting closer.

"Deal, now give me your number," he said before I told him my number

"888-306-7486," I told him before he took it off. It was a black jean jacket with numerous patches and buttons on it. I slipped on the jacket before pecking the guy on the cheek.

"You know I'd like-"

Before he could get his full sentence out a black motorcycle pulled up by the curb. The tall guy stepped off and took their helmet. I was met with familiar electric blue eyes and a pile of very dark hair.

"Your knight in shining armor has arrived," he said walking over to me. He then took the cigarette away from my lips before connecting his with mines. I was leaning against the phone booth as our lips moved in perfect sync. He then broke away and began staring at the guy that was talking to me earlier.

"I hope you enjoyed this little show but unfortunately, we've gotta blast," he said before taking my hand and guiding me over to the motorcycle.

"Where did you get this?" I asked before handing me his helmet.

"Let's say I borrowed it from a past friend," he told me before I put on the helmet and climbed on. He climbed on as well before I wrapped my arms around him.

"I know the only way I'll get over this is to get my revenge...And I'm sorry for that and dragging you into this" he told me.

"I know and it's fine, I have some revenge to get too" I reassured him before he drove off. Everything passed in a blur as my hair trailed behind me. A big smile made it's way to my face as we sped down the road.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Back to the place we were taken," he said before continuing.

"Well be there soon, so try to get some rest babe," he said before I closed my eyes.
