It was about 3 in the afternoon on a cool winters evening. it was the last week of holidays and you decided to go down to the local library to finish your homework that was set during the holidays.
You began your walk down to the library considering it was only about a 10 minute walk. You slipped your headphones in and began listening to the soothing sounds of one direction.

A few minutes into your walk to the library, it began raining, not heavily but enough to wet all your books and your hair, you starting running.
You entered the library soaking wet, water dripping from your hair and bag, you let yourself dry off a bit before sitting down.
You got your books out to see they are drenched and unusable due to the rain.
You let out a huge sigh and rest your head in your arms on the table.
You look up to see a boy looking at you, around your age, He floppy hair covering half of his face, but you could still make out his brown eyes.
"Hey are you okay, from the rain and all?" He asks sitting next to you.
"Umm not really all my books are wet so I can't do anything and it's just so stressful." You say in one big breath.
He gives you a sympathetic smile.
"My names Ethan by the way." He says.
"Y/N." You reply shyly.
"So what brought you to the library today?" He asks
"Well I had homework set for the holidays and I was bored at home so i figured I'd come to the library to finish my homework, what about you?"
"Well I like coming here regularly to read, it's quiet here, not many people typically come to this library and it's relaxing and calming in a sense, but I'm also catching up because I'm starting a new school after these holidays so I want to make sure I'm up to date with everything." He explains.
"Oh that's cool, what school are you going to." You ask whilst rummaging through your bag to see if there was anything that could be salvaged from the rain.
"*random school name*."
"Hey that's my school." You say happily as it means you will be seeing more of Ethan. Not gonna lie he is pretty damn cute.
"Oh thank god at least I'll know someone now." He says chuckling at the end.
"Well I guess so but just a heads up I'm not the most popular person ever, if you hang out with me your practically setting yourself up for humiliation." You say truthfully.
You were never bullied or anything like that, but you definitely weren't popular you just never clicked with people, except for your best friend Mia.
"Well I don't understand how I could be humiliated by hanging out with someone as beautiful as you." Ethan says kind of flirtatiously.
Ethan's phone goes off as he receives a text.
"That was my mum she said she's going to pick me up because its raining, would you want to come back to mine or something?" He asks
"Well I have nothing else to do why not, I'm just going to let my mum know." You say grabbing your phone and beginning to text your mum.
"She said it's okay, so long as I'm back before dinner which is around 7." You say
"That's cool, so where abouts do you live."
"Not far about 10 minutes away at *random street name*"
"Really I live just a street away from you I live on *another random street name*"
"That's heaps cool, looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of each other then." You say
"I guess so, but that's not a bad thing is it?" Ethan says raising his eyebrows at you, revealing his big brown eyes that you could easily get lost in.
"No, not at all." You say walking out of the library
huh maybe today wasn't so boring after all.
