Jakob // Ruby

(Sorry this took so long also btw they are like 18-19 in this story)

I wake up after a long night. My head spins just remembering it all. I begin walking down the stairs to get to my kitchen - Because I need some panadol to dull this hangover. I make myself a cup of tea as well.

I still on the kitchen table with my tea and panadol. I take both and a sip of tea. I sit back on the chair when a memory comes back from last night

*flashback*

"Ruby just go over to him." My friend slurs. When she says him that's implying Jakob the guy I like. A lot, and me not being completely sober decides to do exactly that.

"Hey Jakob." I say to him.

"Oh hey Ruby - are you okay do you need me to take you home or something you look pretty sick." Truth be told. I wasn't feeling all to well before this party, both physically and mentally, I really didn't want to come to this party but my friend dragged me to it. Mix sickness with alcohol you have a problem.

"Nah I don't want to take you away from the party I'm fine."

"Well you're clearly not fine and I really don't mind - no you know what I'm taking you home whether you like it or not."

"Okay fine." He grabs my waist and pulls my from the party to his car. I knew it was fine because he hadn't been drinking.

"Thanks Jakob." I say once we get in the car.

"It's fine don't mention it, hey but seriously are you feeling okay."

"Depends, what's your definition of okay?"

"Okay you need some sobering up... McDonalds?" He says.

"OOO yeah. But wait I don't have any money."

"It's fine I'll pay it's only McDonalds." He says laughing

"Thanks I owe you one." i say yawning.

We drive to McDonalds and Jakob goes through the drive thru. We eat in the car and he starts driving me home.

*end of flashback*

The only thing i remember after that is Jakob carrying me up to my room. He said something but I can't remember what.

"Oh god." I say to myself realising how much of an idiot I was in front of Jakob.

I decide to text him to say sorry for last night.

Text conversation

J - Jakob R - Ruby

R - Hey Jakob just wanted to apologise for last night I wasn't exactly myself but thank you for taking me home.

J - It's all good don't worry about it, are you feeling better today?

R - A lot better after some panadol haha.

J - I can imagine.

R - Hey do you want to hang out today, I'm not doing anything and I was just wondering if you maybe wanted to do something?

 J - Yeah sure why not, meet me at 12 at the beach does that sound okay?

R - Sounds great see you then!

J - Okay bye.

I look at the time on my phone 11:30 

I decide to start getting ready. 

I wear a light blue two piece bikini underneath a white flowy top and some light blue denim shorts.

I add minimal makeup, just some concealer and powder.

I check the time. its 10 to 12. I decide to leave my house and head down to the beach.

I sit down on a seat waiting for Jakob. I get a text.

J - Hey I'm coming down now meet me at the cafe next to the beach?

R - Okay see you there.

I get up and start walking to the cafe. I see Jakob sitting there and I smile to myself.

The nerves start to kick in, I try to ignore them and make my way to where Jakob is sitting in the cafe.

"Hi." I say Jakob turns around.

"Oh uh hey sit down." I do as he says and I sit opposite him.

"Are you okay you look nervous?" I ask him.

"Um yeah no i'm fine.. I think."

"Jakob you're clearly not fine."

"Can we talk about this somewhere else a bit more private?"

"Uhhh sure.... we can go back to my house it's not that far about 5 minutes walk?"

"Yep that's good."

We walk in mostly silence exchanging a few words here and there but it wasn't awkward.Which was weird. I think it was more being in each others presence that we liked the best rather then talking.

We get to my house and we both sit in the living room.

"Feels like I was just here a few days ago." Jakob jokes. I giggle at what he says.

He does his smile that makes me heart race a million miles an hour. God.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"Umm well okay I'm just gonna say it because there's no point in beating around the bush..I like you Ruby as in I really really like you and well I don't know exactly when or how but I just remember wanting to be able to call you mine." Jakob says

I smile like an idiot. Before I could stop myself I crash my lips onto his. It feels so good to finally kiss him, I've been wanting to for so long and now I know he likes me and I like him. Once we pull apart Jakob says

"I'll take that as a you like me to."

"You'd be right in saying that." I say before laughing and kissing him again.

A/N

OKAY HEY WHATS UP I HOPE YOU LIKED THIS ONE RUBY BC I MADE IT HAPPY BUT ITS ALSO KINDA CHEESY BUT MEH WHATEVER ALL OF MY IMAGINES ARE SO THERE'S NO SURPRISE THERE.

also another question would you want me to do an imagine like you were one of the girls in the music video it'll be Y/N and it'll just be like you are one of the models or something idk yet but only if you guys want it? let me know okay cool.
