Ch 6 Sour Party

Blair was taking pictures of the seniors and was having a blast. She then said to Alexis "Alexis smile." Alexis didn't smile as she was focused on school work at the moment. Alexis then asked why she was taking pictures. Blair said "I am going for the senior picture album." Hassleberry said that he would make everything better at the party that was going to be thrown in a day or two. Alexis was shocked to see that the party was so close to graduation. Everyone but Alexis was exicted about the party as she wanted Jaden to be back to the way he was before the other dimension.

The next day Alexis was given a invitation to go to the party that Hassleberry was talking about. Then Hassleberry said "I would like you to participate in the duels that we are going to have." Alexis just smiled and agreed to what he said. Hassleberry said "I would also like you to invite Jaden if that is ok after all you two are married." Alexis said "why me?" Hassleberry said "well I couldn't find him and he has not taken one picture this year so we need that and he would be great in the duel tournament that we are having." Hassleberry ran off and entrusting this task to Alexis.

Alexis then looked through the pictures that Alexis has of Jaden went he was at the academy before he went to that horrid place. Alexis thought to herself 'it brings back so many good memories of our first year.' Then she turned to a picture that showed Jaden smiling like he normally would. Alexis then thought 'I haven't seen that smile in a very long time. I wish to see it again as that is the man that I fell in love with and I do anything to get him back.'

The next day Alexis went to the red dorm but then Blair came out of his room and was looking for him. Alexis and Blair teamed up to find Jaden. Meanwhile Jaden was fishing and relaxing. He was then told by Yubel that he should do something with Alexis after all she is carrying his child. Then Alexis and Blair appeared. Alexis said "Jaden why have you not taken any pictures for the senior album?" Jaden tried to ignore them but then it pissed off Alexis. She then grabbed him and they started to take pictures. 

Then after they were done Blair said that the pictures were perfect. Jaden was then leaving and Alexis said "wait. Jaden we haven't been having a good time together since the other dimension so what is wrong with you." Jaden then began to walk away when Blair butted in. She then ran to Jaden and asked him to join them at the party that was being thrown for the seniors. Jaden took the invitation but was not wanting to answer as he could be attacked at any moment. He then went to the dorm and rested.

Then as the pairing began and Chazz and Syrus were fighting over who would be with Alexis Jaden then appeared. Alexis looked at him and he did the same and then the two of them were paired together. They then were shocked that they got paired together but everyone admitted defeat because Alexis was Jaden's girl. Then it was going to be a tag duel between Jaden and Alexis vs Sheppard and Dorothy. Alexis and Jaden prepared to duel and so did their opponents and Jaden didn't say his favorite catch phase at all which saddened Alexis.

Sheppard draws "Cyber Ogre". He then activates "Polymerization" to fuse his two "Cyber Ogres" together in order to Fusion Summon "Cyber Ogre 2" (2600/1900) in Attack Position. Sheppard then Sets a card. Alexis draws "De-Fusion". She then Normal Summons "Etoile Cyber" (1200/1600) in Defense Position and Sets a card ("De-Fusion"). Dorothy draws "Marshmallon" and subsequently Normal Summons it (300/500) in Attack Position.

Jaden draws "De-Fusion". Jaden's hand contains "Elemental Hero Neos", "Hero Barrier", Elemental Hero Necroshade", "Elemental Hero Sparkman, and "Polymerization". He then activates "Polymerization" to fuse "Necroshade" with "Sparkman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Darkbright" (2000/1000) in Attack Position. "Darkbright" attacks "Marshmallon". Due to the latter's effect, it is not destroyed (Sheppard/Dorothy 4000 → 2300).

Jaden then activates his own "De-Fusion" to return "Darkbright" to the Fusion Deck and Special Summon "Necroshade" (1600/1800) and "Sparkman" (1600/1400) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. "Sparkman" and "Necroshade" then attack "Marshmallon". Due to the latter's effect, it is not destroyed (Sheppard/Dorothy 2300 → 1000 → 0). Alexis was unhappy that he didn't check her face down but let it go as they had another match to deal with.

Duel already in progress. Jaden and Alexis control "Cyber Angel Benten" (1800/1500) in Attack Position.Alexis activates "Ritual Weapon", equipping it to "Benten" and increasing its ATK and DEF by 1500 ("Cyber Angel Benten": 1800 → 3300/1500 → 3000). She then Sets a card ("Mystical Space Typhoon").

The student draws. He then Normal Summons "Stone Statue of the Aztecs" (300/2000) in Defense Position. He then activates "Mist Body", equipping it to "Stone Statue" and granting it immunity to destruction by battle.

Jaden draws "Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab" and subsequently Normal Summons it (500/500) in Attack Position. He then activates "Fake Hero" to Special Summon "Elemental Hero Neos" from his hand (2500/2000) in Attack Position. Jaden then Contact Fuses "Neos" with "Flare Scarab" in order to Special Summon "Elemental Hero Flare Neos" (2500/2000) in Attack Position.

Jaden then activates "Neo Space". Now "Elemental Hero Neos" and all Fusion Monsters that list "Elemental Hero Neos" as a Fusion Material Monster will gain 500 ATK ("Flare Neos": 2500 → 3000/2000). Jaden then activates "H - Heated Heart" to increase the ATK of "Flare Neos'" by 500 ("Flare Neos": 3000 → 3500/2000) and grant it the ability to inflict piercing damage this turn. He then activates "Gift of the Martyr" to send "Benten" to the Graveyard and increase the ATK of "Flare Neos" by the original ATK of "Benten" until the End Phase ("Flare Neos": 3500 → 5300/2000).

Due to the effect of "Flare Neos", it gains 400 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card on the field. There are currently three ("Flare Neos": 5300 → 6500/2000). "Flare Neos" attacks "Stone Statue of the Aztecs". Due to the effect of "Mist Body", "Stone Statute of the Aztecs", is not destroyed, but "Flare Neos" inflicts piercing damage to the Obelisk Blue Pair (Obelisk Blue Pair 4000 → 0). Alexis was now angry that she had her monster thrown away by Jaden but she kept her cool and continued but she was not a happy camper.
