Authors note: I'm thinking about putting contests and gym battles in the same chapter but I need to know if you guys would like that.
"And the winner of Cerulean city's Pokemon contest with a resounding battle is...."
Ash was smiling. He was waiting for the official announcement.
3 hours earlier......
"Hurry up guys!!" Serena shouted at Ash and Brock.
"We're coming! I know your excited but your running a lot faster then before!!" Ash shouts backs
"Stop being a baby!"
"Just wait up!"
"But I want to win my first ribbon!"
"Ok sure go ahead! We'll be cheering you on!"
"Guys wait up!" Misty shouts from behind.
"So there's the gym leader!!" Ash yells at her.
"W-whaaaat?! I don't know what your talking about!"
"Mhm! Explain that to your sisters!"
Her face goes from smiling to frowning.
"And there's the proof. You'll be explaining this to me on the route to Vermillion city!!"
The group of three including a slightly angry Ash go and find a seat in the building.
"Mom. I'm nervous again!"
"Don't worry Serena! I know you'll do great!"
"Thanks mom!"
"I'll be rooting for you honey! Bye!"
"Bye mom!"
The screen turns black. She hasn't seen Leaf yet.
She finishes getting ready. For this she's using Eevee then Absol.
"Alright guys! I'm ready to go! What about you guys?"
"Eepaa!"
"Ab! Absol!"
"Alright guys we're next!"
"Serena Yvonne please make your way to the stage!"
"Ok! Absol and Eevee return!"
She returns the two excited Pokemon and runs off towards the stage.
Before she gets there she runs into Leaf.
"L-Leaf? Your late!"
"And? Have fun Serena!"
"I will Leaf!"
"Now please welcome the runner up from the Pewter Contest! Serena Yvonne!"
Ash and his friends started cheering. Ash was the loudest.
"Eevee! It's your time to shine!" She throws Eevee's Pokeball and stars appeared with the Eevee.
"Eevee use swift!"
Eevee jumps around doing its dance shooting stars in groups into the air creating a massive star above it.
Serena holds her arms down low.
"Eevee use swift again!"
Eevee shoots a last group of stars while jumping onto Serena's arm. The Stars hit the massive star. Sparkles fly everywhere.
Serena then throws Eevee in the air. The Pokemon keeps doing twists when it's thrown. Once the sparkles disappear Eevee does its last flips and lands on its two front paws.
