It's been two days since the close call. Ash and Serena slept all day the day after it. They are waking up finally.
Ash, Serena, Misty, and Brock all head out. Ash is really wanting a gym battle.
"I'm so pumped for this battle!" Ash shouts.
"I heard he's an electric type user. His Raichu is by far the best Pokemon he has." Brock says.
Just then someone comes running by with a Rattata.
"Don't worry Rattata! It's not your fault it's the gym leaders!" The boy shouts running.
The group was wondering the same thing. Was it really the gym leaders Pokemon that hurt that Rattata that bad?
They walk up to the gym to see a sign. It's reads......
"No more challengers today. Go home."
"OH CMON!!" Ash yells.
"Hey maybe it's better this way. You still haven't fully recovered yet." Misty says.
"Yea Ash she's right." Serena adds. "I'm still not 100% so your probably aren't.."
Just then a Squirtle goes in front of Ash as he turns around.
"A Squirtle?" Serena and Ash question.
It smiles spraying Ash in the face with water gun.
"Hey! That was uncalled for!"
It then turns spraying Serena as well.
"You little turtle!!" She shouts.
The Squirtle laughs and takes off with Ash and Serena closing in. Brock and Misty follow closely.
The Squirtle turns a corner into an alley way. The trainers follow the Squirtle. Police sirens are getting closer and Squirtle throws a paint can in front of Ash then takes off.
"Ah ha! Caught you!" Officer Jenny shouts grabbing Ash's wrist.
"What did I do?!" Ash yells.
"Yea! He didn't do anything!" Serena shouts.
"Then why is there a spray can in front of you?"
"It's Squirtle's fault!" Misty says.
"This Squirtle wouldn't have happened to be wearing glasses would it?"
"Yes it was...." Ash and Serena respond.
"Oh my!! I'm so sorry!" She shouts letting Ash's hand go. "I shouldn't have jumped to a conclusion!"
"Is this Squirtle been causing trouble?"
"Yes for quite some time as well...."
"Really?" Brock asks.
"Yea...."
10 minutes of story later.....
Officer Jenny finished explaining what happened to make the Squirtle like that.
After Jenny leaves there's an explosion near them. They group runs off to see a Squirtle water gunning a Vileplume.
"I-it's the Pokemon Hunter from when I got Eevee!" Serena shouts surprised.
"Oh.... Hey there girly! How ya doing?"
"Don't you dare talk to her....." Ash says aggravated.
"A little protective are we? Well I'll take that down a notch...." The Pokemon Hunter pulls out a little device and throws it under Ash's feet.
It shoots up a rope that tangles Ash sending him crashing to the ground.
"ASH!!" Serena yells.
"Your turn..." He picks up a little projectile shooter. He points it at Serena and fires.
Another rope appears tangling Serena sending her to the ground next to Ash.
"Stop that!" Brock yells.
"Stop being such pains!!" The Pokemon Hunter throws a net over Brock and Misty.
"I came for that Squirtle but since I'm here I'll grab that Eevee as well!"
The Hunter reaches down to Serena only to get bit. Ash bit down hard on his hand causing him to yell in pain.
"Oh boy!"
He's about to punch Ash but gets sprayed by Squirtle. Squirtle also sprays Ash again.
"Squirtle! I know what your going through! You don't have to go through it alone! There are people that would care about you!"
Squirtle stares at Ash then nods staring down the Hunter.
"Bring it ya turtle!" The Hunter shouts.
"Squirtle tackle!" Ash yells.
Squirtle nods and hits the Hunter in his stomach. He falls back and gets sprayed by Squirtle again. There's sirens and Officer Jenny arrives and arrests the Hunter and the Vileplume.
Brock and Misty escape from their net and let Ash and Serena out.
"Thanks guys!" Ash and Serena say gratefully. Squirtle looks at Ash with an expecting look.
"Let's not forget about you Squirtle!"
Squirtle jumps into Ash.
"Hey! Do you want to come with us? I promise I'll treat you right!"
Squirtle thinks for a second then nods tapping Ash's last empty Pokeball.
Ok that was a bad chapter...... I'm sorry....
