Chapter 15 - New Rivals Ian and Natalie!

Ash, Serena, Brock, and Misty were having a small lunch on this nice warm afternoon. Brock had made his stew that had become popular within the small group.

"This was sooooo Delicious Brock!" Serena yells with absolute glee.

"Well you say it every single time, so I think it's always like that." Brock says with a smile on his face.

Serena turns to Ash who is eating his food as fast as he can. The only thing Ash earns from this is a stern gaze from Serena.

"Ash don't eat so fast!!" Serena shrieks at the jet black haired boy.

Ash quickly swallows as he puts his hands up. "Calm down Sere please!"

Serena smirks happily. "Good." She responds.

"Eevee get back here!!" The group hears a girl  voice shout.

"You too Eevee!" The groups hear a boy shout

Just then, two Eevee's burst through bushes. They were very quick and surprised everyone as they ran. Then, they run into Pikachu and Charla.

One was brown, and had perfectly groomed hair. It had a little pink bow on the side of its head. The other was a white colored fur Eevee, and was less perfect looking, as its fur was scruffy.

Just then, two people, one male one female, ran through the bushes after the two Pokémon. They looked to be sixteen, the same age as Ash and Serena. They both look to the ground.

"We are so sorry for our Eevee's behavior!" The girl shouts.

"They just smelt something and came running!" The boy shouts.

"Hey relax its no big deal!" Ash shouts trying to break the tension.

Where Charla and Pikachu were, all of the Pokémon were getting angry at the two little small Eevee's

"Hey guys it was an accident!" Misty yells at the few Pokémon, trying to calm them down.

Eventually, they do, thanks to Misty. If they weren't stopped, they could've hurt the poor little ones who didn't know better.

"Anyway, again sorry for all that, but Hi! My name is Ian! And this is my best friend Natalie or Nati." Ian says now introducing him and Natalie, obviously.

Ian was wearing a plain black t-shirt under a open blue jacket. He was wearing blue jeans, and some black gym shoes. His hair was blonde, and short. He had green eyes.

Natalie was wearing a ruffled light blue tank top, under an open, rolled sleeve jean jacket. She had black pants, matched by short black boots. Her hair was long and light blonde, reaching to her mid back. Her eyes were emerald green. In her hair, she had a light blue flower pin. On her neck, she was wearing a necklace. The necklace was silver chained, with a blue crystal attached at the bottom.

"Yes that's us, and those two trouble makers, are our partners, Eevee and Eevee." Natalie adds pointing to the two little Eevee sitting looking at their trainers feet.

"Nice to meet you! My name is Ash and this is my partner, Pikachu."

"My names Serena!"

"Hi I'm Brock"

"And my names Misty!"

"Wait... Serena?! Serena Yvonne?! Your her aren't you!" Natalie shouts, jumping up and down excitedly.

"Well yes that would be me." Serena responds with a smile.

"I'm a huge fan of your contests!" Natalie shouts now really loudly.

"Aw thank you!" Serena responds happily, as she seems to have found a huge fan.

Then Natalie looks around and sees only some leftover food. Brock must notice her eyes, and how they look.

"Are you two hungry?" Brock asks, looking at the young girl and her best friend.

"Umm well... yeah we haven't eaten lunch yet.." Natalie responds shyly.

"What about your Pokémon?" Brock adds to his question.

The moment Brock mentions food, Ian's and Natalie's Eevee run over to the taller trainer, and look him in the eyes with the cutest face.

"I'll take that as a yes!" Brock says. After that, Natalie and Ian let out their other two Pokémon each, for their midday meal.

Throughout the day, the group gets to know Natalie and Ian more. Ash and Serena seem to be getting along really well with the two.

Ash, Serena, Natalie, and Ian declare themselves rivals. Ian swearing to have a battle with Ash, and Natalie the same with Serena. Though, in a less competitive way.

By 8:30 PM, everyone was getting tired. Seeing as Ash's group, usually sleeps under the stars, that's where they slept, with Nati and Ian close by. Tomorrow, they would be heading off to Saffron City, in the center of the Kanto Region
