Chapter 47 - The Final Battle Part 1

Ash and Ian had been walking for a few days. It's been 5 days since Serena, Natalie, and Kaylen were kidnapped by Team Rocket and they were both ready to get their revenge and save the girls. They were approaching Veridian City. That was the only place it could be. The HQ of Team Rocket. As they approached the town, they hear a familiar voice. "Look out you two!" Ash and Ian turn around to see Gary and they move out of the way quickly.

Gary stops just after he passed them. "Oh my god it's you two! Wait where are the girls?!" Gary asks frantically. "They were taken by Team Rocket.." Ash says looking down but sees the horror in Gary's look. "What happened?" Ash asks worried. "They took Leaf too!!" Gary shouts angrily. Ash's and Ian's eyes widen. "You're kidding!!" They shout in unison. "Wait if they have Serena too.. then they have got to be luring you in." Gary says and Ash nods.

Ian looks at the two and remembers the  Silph Co building and how Natalie was tortured. The tiny blade cutting into her. Her screams of pain the tears coming from her eyes. He had been terrified. Now he was more terrified. "Ian? Ian? Earth to Ian?" Ash had said waving his hand in front of Ian's face. Ian shakes his head and looks down. "Good you are here. We lost you for a second. You were just staring into space." Gary says looking at him. "Hey are you okay??"

After Gary says that Ian looks up with newfound determination. "Yes I'm alright! Let's save those girls!" Ian says smiling. Gary and Ash look to each other and they smiled. "Let's do it!" They shout in unison. The group of three boys quickly make it to the city. The only place that seemed out of place now was the Pokémon gym. It was open suddenly. It was hard to see but you could tell the windows were barred.

"This has to be the place." Ash says scowling. He looks at the gym sign. 'The Gym leader is Giovanni' "This is the place. Let's go." Ash says walking in. Gary and Ian also make their way into the gym following him. They get to the battlefield quickly. "Oh here you boys are. I knew you'd all come." A familiar voice says maniacally.

"Giovanni!" Ash scowls and shouts when the lights turn in to Show Giovanni standing there. "Oh Ash. You know you are my only other person I have to get to be able to destroy the world. Right?" Giovanni asks smirking. "Also did you know that Kaylen has part of your powers? I have reason to believe she is another great."

"Impossible! There are only two at a time! Those two are me and Serena!" Giovanni smirks and holds up a hologram. It showed the four girls in a cell somewhere. There was a screen and it seemed like they were watching what was happening. Serena, Natalie, and Leaf were tied down to chairs. Kaylen was no where to be seen. Ash lost it. "Alright Pikachu are you ready!!" Ash shouts and Pikachu jumps on the field.

"Nu uh. Not so fast Ketchum. This will be an official gym battle. If you win let's make a deal why don't we?" Giovanni says smiling more. "If you can beat my new Pokémon then you can make me do what I wish." "Deal!" Ash shouts. "If I win you disband team rocket!" Ash shouts. "And if I win you will come with me and be tortured with you dearest until we can harness both of your powers. And once we do, the light in both of you will die and consume the planet."

After Giovanni said that Ash already knew he had to back down, but he couldn't. It wouldn't be possible. He already said deal. Plus he knew he would do something to the girls if he did back down. Then someone appeared. A little girl. Kaelyn. Ash's eyes widen and Giovanni grabs the little girls arm. "Leave her alone!"

"Oh and if you decide to back down from this deal, I'll harm your daughter." Giovanni says. Tears were in Kaelyn's eyes. "Don't do it daddy! Don't do it!" Kaelyn shouts but Ash tears up. "Kaelyn I have to protect you! Bring it Giovanni!" Ash shouts. "You two find the girls.." Ash whispers and they agree. Ian and Gary run off as the referee comes out.

"This will be a gym battle! The challenger has to defeat one Pokémon while the leader has to beat 3! Is this understood?!" The referee shouts and Ash and Giovanni nod in agreement. "Send out your Pokémon!" The referee shout. Then, Out of no where Mew appears in front of Ash. "Ash I can defeat his Pokémon let me help!" Mew says telepathically. Ash nods his head.

Giovanni scowls but an elevator from below appears and a Pokémon in armor appears and looks to be intimidating Mew a little bit. "Let the battle begin!"

Ash finally engages Giovanni in battle. Mew is there to help and Ian and Gary ran off to find the girls. Giovanni is using a mysterious Pokémon and Kaelyn against Ash. How will it end? Find out as the journey continues..
