Chapter One- Flower Power

Rey Kenobi was arranging her flowers at the counter of her little flower shop.

She had been here for about 2 months , knew most of the neighborhood but not the tattoo parlor next door.

She sighed , maybe a tattoo of her own - "Rey ?" Her aunt asked walking out.

"Yes Aunt Maz?" She asked the older woman who was so short it was almost funny.... Okay it was.

"Could you run next door and tell Chewie that I can't make it to our date tonight" the woman asked.

Rey smiled , Chewie apparently was the best friend of the tattoo shop's owner and a wonderful business man.

"Sure..." Rey smiled and walked out the door of their flower shop.

She opened the doors to tattoo parlor , heavy metal music playing and a needle pounding .

"Hello ?" She called out . A minute later a young man came out.

He was tall , maybe 6'3 or 6'4. Black hair that hung just above his shoulders with a slight curl and a grey shirt and black jeans on . He wore a red and blue flannel shirt half buttoned and she could see ink stains on his hands .

"Can I help you ?" He asked drying his ink stained hands on a rag.

"Oh... Yeah! Um I'm Rey -"

"Are you over 18?"

"Yes and -"

"Okay follow me" he said and walked to the back , Rey followed him with curiosity and wondered why he asked her back .

"Okay sit down and what type of tattoo are you thinking of -"

"Tattoo ? No I'm not here for a tattoo -"

"This is a tattoo parlor miss" he said.

"I'm here because of my aunt... Hi I'm Rey , I own the flower shop next door" she said holding her hand out.

"Hi... I'm Ben solo ... My dad owns this place " he said .

"That's cool... Do you have any tattoos of your own ? Oh well of course you do ... You work at a tattoo parlor -"

"Shh" he laughed "yeah I have a couple of tattoos ..." He smiled .

"Oh... Well um... Is Chewie here ? My aunt is dating him ... Well she not my aunt... She's my dad's cousin but I call her my aunt and -"

"Chewie isn't here ... He's gonna be here later " Ben told her .

"Oh could you tell him that Maz isn't going to make it for their date tonight ... Oh and that's she's sorry and she'll-"

"I'll tell him when he gets here later " Ben promised .

"Thanks " she smiled "it was nice to meet you Ben ... If you ever need a bouquet or something like for your mom or your dying aunt or you girlfriend ... Just come in and I'll give you a discount "

"Well I don't have a girlfriend and only one uncle ... However I do have a mother who's named Leia ... Like the lei flower from Hawaii "

"Oh I have those ! So just ... Come from her birthday and I'll whip out one really fast" she smiled .

"Okay thanks Rey ... And if you ever need a tattoo for your mom or dying aunt or boyfriend come by" he smirked .

"Oh ...I don't have a boyfriend or a mom ..-"

"Oh I'm sorry I -"

"I'm kidding ! My mom and dad live in Tanpa and retired !" She laughed and walked out a smile on her face .
