Thorns and Needles : ON HOLD

Chapter Five- Busy

Rey walked onto the street in which her flower shop was located , an ice tea in her hand and headphones in.

She saw a swarm of people outside of her and ben's side of the street. She began to push her way through the crowds to get to her shop.

She couldn't hear the people with her headphones in so she rolled her eyes and set up for the day.

"It's been overwhelmingly busy" Ben said walking into her shop.

"Tell me about... I got asked to do flowers for this kid's Bat Mitzvah who lives in Hawaii" Rey told him.

"I think I know why" he said pulling his phone out. He pressed play and a series of snap chats from their performance from last night began .

"So we played a -"

"Check twitter" and she did , thorns and needles were trending ...

"Who the hell is thorns and needles ?"

"Apparently our band name ... Oh and Finn and Poe's ship name is stormpilot"

"Stormpilot?" Rey asked .

"Storm ... Finn Storm and Poe "Pilot" Dameron.... Anyway people really liked last night's performance"

"And ?" Rey asked .

"Come by at 8:30 and I'll explain everything" Ben told her and then grabbed a yellow rose and tucked it behind her ear "see you then"

Rey smiled and then took the yellow flower out from behind her ear and placed it on the counter .

Rey walked into the tattoo shop , the scent of freshly cleaned needles filled the air .

"You came" Ben said .

"That I did" Rey smiled and followed him to the employee lounge .

"Okay... So I called you all here to talk about last night's performance... Everyone loved Rey's voice " Ben began .

"How could you not ?" Gwen asked .

"Anyway , we created some real buzz ... And I got call from Snoke from Force Music ... He wants to sign us , Thorns and Needles , to his record line "

"Are you kidding me ? Snoke ?!" Hux asked.

"He wants all of us to go to New York City and sign the contract" Ben explained . "Including Rey " he looked at her.

"No !" Rey said "this is your guy's band ... And I wouldn't feel right just coming in and -"

"Rey... You saved our ass last night ... Plus you're an amazing singer ... You make us stronger ... Hell you gave us a name" Poe said .

"How did I give you all a name ?" Rey wondered .

"Thorns , like a flower shop and Needles ... Like a tattoo parlor ... Boom ! Tumblr ! Thank you teenage girls !" Finn explained to her.

"I don't know " Rey rubbed the back of her neck with her hand "a band ? A record deal ?"

"Rey... You're living every kids dream!" Gwen chimed in.

"I'm not sure ... Can I at least think about it?" Rey asked .

"Sure ... Just let us know soon... Come on guys" Finn said and the group walked out of the store .
