I woke up around 5:30 this morning, due to the ruckus Grian was making in the living room. He was playing Star Fox, and he was obnoxiously yelling nasty comments at the television screen whenever his ship crashed or when he messed up on attacking or dodging an enemy.

"Grain, can you please be quiet for once?!"; I yelled at him, still laying on my bed. I heard Grian groan and then turn the volume on the TV down a little bit.

It was Friday, and I had to be up and ready for school in two hours from now. I attempted to get some shut eye before then, but I remained wide awake. I decided to go get dressed in a black lacey skirt and long sleeved top with a corset on the back. I lazily pulled some black and grey striped socks over my feet and put on my black combat boots. I then grabbed my backpack and walked out of the house. I didn't feel like waiting for Oliver or Grian, so I figured I could just walk around a little bit.

I had walked about six blocks away from the house when I heard some footsteps behind me. I stopped in my tracks, expecting Grian to tackle me or yell at me for leaving he and Oliver behind or something, but instead, the person just walked straight passed me. I looked ahead and saw a girl wearing a jacket that was colored dark green on one side and black on the other. She wore dark grey pants and purple Converse. Her black hair was really short but was still a little bit shaggy. A few long strands of hair were hanging around her head here and there. The girl continued to walk silently in a perfectly straight line.

'I've never seen her around here before.. I wonder if she just moved in recently? Or maybe she was here all along and I just missed her... Whatever. She seems kind of interesting though.'; I thought to myself. I stood still for a few seconds before I continued to walk again. A few steps later, I began to speed up my pace a little bit. A fast walk turned into a jog, and that became a run.

"Wait!"; I called after her, hoping she would hear. She continued to walk away. "No! Stop! Wait up!"; I decided to run a little faster to try and catch up to her. The girl eventually stopped walking and just stood still. I managed to finally catch up to the girl and stopped behind were she stood.

"Who are you?"; I asked. There was no response. "What's your name?" I tried asking her again. The girl still didn't respond, but she turned around to face me.

"So you're not much of a talker, I presume?"

Still nothing. She gave me an annoyed glare.

"My name is Lithia, nice to meet you"; I awkwardly looked into her black, soulless eyes, hoping for some kind of answer this time. The girl remained completely silent and walked away. I sighed in disappointment as I watched her walk further and further away from me.

"YO!! LITHIAAA!!"; I heard a very familiar voice. That voice, of course, belonged to Grian. I turned around to see him running towards me, carrying a very sleepy Oliver on his back. Oliver clutched on tight to Grian as they inched closer to me in a hurry.

"Fuck you, Lithia. You always run off without us, making me and Oliver trail after you like two sick puppies!"; Grian yelled at me and walked passed me a little ways. I walked behind him.

"I honestly find it fun to do this every day. It makes things a little bit more interesting."

Grian glared at me and held up his middle finger, still carrying Oliver on his back. I trailed behind him quietly. If I said anything he'd probably just get more mad at me, and things can get pretty brutal if you mess with him too much.

We were about halfway to the school now. I saw the girl from earlier standing next to a tree on the opposite side of the street from us. I looked at her and she glared at me.

'Who is she??' I thought to myself.
