Jongin's POV

Am I dreaming? I thought to myself. This can't be too true, am I right?

"Jongin.." Shane said, pulling me back to reality. She winked and signal for me to go out. I felt that something was amiss. Something tells me this isn't what I am seeing, something tells me that Shane has not regain her memory yet. This is all a pretend.

She grabbed my wrist and dragged me outside. I made eye-contact with Mrs Park who was sitting beside Shane's bed with a confused look, I quickly showed her an assuring look. Everything is going to be fine.

Shane dragged me all the way to the hospital's café.

She led me to a seat.

"Sit down.." she said. I saw that her face was no longer the cheerful and happy one a moment ago.

I stared at her, filled with worry.

"Yah.. What's wrong with you.." I began, I really hope my intuition is wrong this time.. Though they are almost always right. But I really hoped Shane is really alright..

"Jongin, you must help me this time. Please." Shane began, eyes avoiding mine.

"Help you what, aren't your memory regained?"

"No.. I have not.."

I froze. That was the last thing I wanted to hear in my life.

"No.. I have not.." it ranged in my mind.

"Jong..Jongin?" she said looking at me nervously.

"Yah why did you lie.." I said, feeling irritated.

"I am sorry but I don't have a choice. If I don't, that woman who is supposed to be my umma.. might.. might suffer from depression and it was that man who is my appa that asked me to do it.. I am sorry Jongin.. but you have to help me.. Please.. You are the only one I knew now.. Please.." she begged.

I simply kept quiet, all this was a let down.

"And so, my supposed-to-be umma had already arranged the paperwork for my discharge from the hospital.. I can go back home today and attend school tomorrow." she continued.

I looked at her. She looked away. Why is she avoiding my sight?

The situation she is in now, can totally show her personality.

Even though she could not remember a single thing about her umma, so now that her umma is just a total stranger to her, she is still willing to help. But sadly, in a way which could hurt herself.

Leaving the hospital without recovery? Kim Jongin will never allow that to happen to his girlfriend.

"You know you don't have to be so selfless." I said to her coldly. I don't know why wanted to do this, obviously, she needed to be kept under observation in the hospital.

"Please Jongin.." she said.

I stood up, " I will tell the truth to your umma now."

"No.. don't.. that would be a double blow to her!" she said and quickly grabbed my wrist.
