Moving On Ch. 3

Christina and Carolina understood me when I said I wanted to leave. We took a drive went down to the beach where I just let it all out. I filled them in to what had happened. And from the look in the twins eyes they wanted blood. After a while they brought me home, they wanted to stay but I was all worn out and honestly I wanted to be alone. I gave them both a kiss and a hug and said my goodbyes and made my way into my room with blood shot red eyes I noticed the college application on my desk.

I looked at it and within minutes I filled it out. All my life I wanted to go to the University of Miami with my Marcus. But now that all seemed like a dream, a dream that he distroyed. But no more I will continue with my plans and this would be the perfect way to do it. I will leave this town, I will start my new life, I will leave all this pain and heartache as a thing of the past.

California was the perfect place to start over.

"Starting over" I mumbled
I was not planning to tell anyone except my parents - I mean duhh, they are my parents. But I thought about my girls, my sexi nerd crew, I thought about how I was never going to see them again. I couldn't just leave them just like that without saying anything. I mean this are my best friend they are like my sisters. No I'm not that cruel.

And with I called them.

I called my girls. After a while of "what?" "So far" "No don't leave" "why California"

I managed to calm them down. Its was so sweet that they were more stressed and hurt then me. They didn't want to make it worse so in the end they said that they understood and that they wish me the best. They mentioned that soon we will be all together again. I mean it's just 4 years and it's not like am never going to see them again I mean our parents are best friends. Which means all the holidays and vacations we will see each other.

My girls...... I thought

My best friends.... I added

"Oh how I am going to miss you guys so much, I wish y'all can come with me." I stated

"Carolina, do we have family in California?" Christina asked

"Yes, why" Carolina questionly asked

"Hold that thought I'll be right back" she said as she put her to the said.

"Umm, Carolina what is going on?" I asked in confusion.

"Girl, I have no clue you know how Christina is and how she gets when she get an idea" she stated.

"I know, but I should go talk to my parents, at least I know mom will be happy. A little worried cause I'm going to be there alone but I just have to do this you know." I sighed

"OMG!!!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU..." We heard Christina yell out.

WTH???? Both Carolina and myself were silently wondering...

"Omg.... Girls you won't believe what is happening right now!!!" She said excitedly

"What?" Carolina and I asked

"Well, 2 things. I just spoke to our parents and Carolina, mom and dad are letting us move to California with you Jess.. Also, they said that they will help pay for an apartment over there that's if your mom and dad are okay with it. They said that they would prefer for us to have our own space and not be living with other people" she said.

"Huh?" I questioned. "Wait, umm what about school? You guys I love you for thinking about me but I can't let you give up your school for me" I told them.

"Jess we need to tell you something" Carolina said nervously. "Oh great now what" I thought.

"Ok so I know that we all made plans for UM but what Christina and me didn't tell you was that when we found out that you had applied for Standford so did we" she explained "and we also got in" she finished.

"WTH! Why didn't you guys tell me" I asked.
"Well, you were so happy about UM and being with us and Marcus- "don't say his name Caro" Christina added. "Oh right, sorry. Will what's his face that we didn't want to disappoint you" she added.

OMG! I was shocked. Completed shocked that my 2 best friends are willing to move with me to California. I mean who in the hell does that? I was beyond happy. I know I wanted a new start but these are my girls. What can I say...

"Jess, all you have to do is let your parents know and between your and our parent they will work something out..." She added

"Guys, do you know what these means??"
"We will go to college together like we planned, we will be living together like we have always wanted... I'm so happy right." Carolina said excitingly

We stayed on the phone all three of us after really thinking about the news... OK so I guess its my turn, I have to let mom and Dad know.

"OK, guys hold on I guess its my turn.'' I said as I walked downstairs.

After a long conversation, crying - not about what happened but about me moving to California they gave me their blessing. They called the twins parents and worked it out. We were so happy you could literally hear the twins screaming in the background.

Now the only problem was that in order to have everything done in time and finish the whole registration process and find an apartment before classes started we had to wait a week to leave.

FAST FORWARDED 1 WEEK LATER....

Finally it was time to leave. Our parents found a really cute 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment really close to the campus. We had to get a special permission to be able to leave off campus, and the fact that our parent each donated something to the school made that special permission perfect.
