The Deal Ch. 7

I stood there just thinking, letting his words process my already confused mind. I was mad. No I was full blown pissed. The fact that Marcus made that comment and the fact that Fabian was some what right. I didn't know what to say, I didn't know what to do at that moment. My though was interrupted when my car pulled up.

"Jess" he called as he waved his hand in front of my face "what do you think, are you in?" He asked.

"Fay, I don't know what to say. I'm a bit confused, annoyed, and disappointed. Don't get me wrong it sounds good and all but, I don't know if I have the heart to do that to him. Even though I know that he was the one that destroyed us, I don't know if us pretending to be a couple is the best idea." I stated.

"Jess, can you just do me a favor and think about it. Just really think about it. And then call me and if you still feel the same way then I would understand and I will leave you alone," he whispered.

I just nodded.

"I'm leaving in 3 days, if you agree to do this I will prolong my trip. If not then I would understand. And I was really nice to see you again after all this time." He said as he leaned getting oh so close to my ear.

"3 days.." Was all I said. Not sure why I was dreading it.

"Well, I see your car is here." He said breaking my thought.

I turned to look at my sweet ride and as I turned back to say goodnight, his face was inches away from me, his lips were a breath away from mines. Then he spoke...

"I meant what I said. It was really nice to see you again, and I was trying not to say anything before but that outfit you have on is doing wonders to your body and I just can't keep my eyes away from you" he whispered.

My breathe hinged, I gave a sweet smile with my eyes. And gave him a kiss in the checks as I said good night.

I hopped into my car and set a course for home. I couldn't think straight the whole night replayed in my head.

Once home I hurried inside, as I walked into the living room I see the twins...

They jumped me before I had a chance to even close the door.

"How was it? Why are you home so early? What happen?" Christina asked me.

"Girl, can you let her breathe!" yelled Carolina.

  I looked at the girls, and they could see that I was in shock, they knew me so well. I went to the kitchen and they followed, their eyes never leaving me. I looked at them and smirked and shook my head while I poured me a drink.

"Jess, now you are starting to worry me" said Carolina.

I poured a cup of Johnny Walker Black label with 4 cubes of ice. I slowly looked at them and turned around and grabbed 2 more cups and did the same. I handed it to each one of them.

"What I'm about to tell you might be the most weird thing ever and you might need this more than me, do not interrupt me, until i'm completely finished." I said motioning them to pick up their cups.

I started to tell them how it went down, detail by detail. I noticed they wanted to speak up but they knew better. I saw Carolina's face make an O shape and Christina had a smirk on hers. We all took a shot of our whiskey, I pour another cup, before continuing and they both put their cups in front of mines motioning for a refill. I did as they wanted. As I was finishing I stayed looking at them not knowing what they would say.

"Sooooo..." I started to say.

"OH.MY.EFFING.GOSH" was all that Carolina said.

"So what are you going to do? Please tell me your going to get even?" Christina asked.

"Are you crazy Chrissy, she can't do that. Fabian just wants to use her for his own selfish reason. I don't think she should do it." Carolina said in shock.

"Oh please, stop trying to be the nice one here, you know very damn well that what he did to her deserves payback. I would think that you out of both us would be all for it." Christina mentioned.

"I know he deserves it, I never said he didn't, what look whats involved here, we are talking about his brother, I mean wouldn't it better with a stranger" Carolina stated.

"Did you now hear what he told her, this would be the best form of payback. I'm sorry but I think you should do it." Christina added.

"I don't know guys, this is his brother, I just don't know. But he gave me a couple of days to think about it and get back to him before he leave for good." I said sadly. 

"Listen guys, I have had a hell of a weird night that all I want to do is just sleep. I'll talk to you guys in the morning." I said.

I walked to my bedroom not even giving a second glance at the girls. I don't know what I should do. I mean, yes I would love to get closure, and actually be happy and mean it. But it's his brother, I don't feel like it's right.

It was difficult to fall asleep. I kept tossing and turning, my mind on high gear, just running in thoughts. Just then I was interrupted by the buzzing coming from my night stand.

BUZZZZZ BUZZZZZ BUZZZZZ

I looked at my phone screen and was surprised to see the incoming text message, I mean I know I would have to speak to him but I just didn't think it would be so soon.

F= Fabian  and J =Jesslyn

F: "Jess are you still awake?"

I didn't answer... Just then another one came through....

F: "I'm sorry for ruining the dinner"

J: "Hey... Yeah I'm still up..."

J: "It's fine...."

F: "I know that I just sprung this request out of nowhere, and for that I'm sorry."

J: "Again, it's okay, it's just too much to process."

F: "Just promise me that that you will think about it. Please...."

J: "Look, Fay I don't know what I'm going to decide but I will think about it"

F: "That's all I ask for beautiful."

J: "I'm going to try and go to sleep, I'll talk to you later."

F: "Good night beautiful, hope to hear from you soon"

I just left it like that didn't even bother to reply. I knew that it wouldn't have ended and I probably would've never gone to sleep. I needed to stop thinking about tonight, about him...Why am I even thinking about that.

I tried to sleep even though it was a rough start I managed to fall asleep.
