Its now night time and Felix is absolutely exhausted from having Cry beat him up all day.

"Maybe instead of having your girlfriend take care of you this whole time, if you had tried to train, you wouldn't be so tired." Cry states as he hands Pewds a can of food.

Felix sighs and rolls his eyes. "Again, sorry I'm not a killing machine like you." He says and takes the can, fork, starts eating.

They're silent for the most part, looking at the flickering camp fire or looking up at the stars.

"If I can remember correctly, you're Swedish right? Why'd you come over here?" Cry asks as he puts down the can and lays down on the ground to watch the sky.

"I am, and its because back in England, where I lived, there were all sorts of rumors that Europe was going to get nuked. Marzia got scared, so she and I came over here with our dogs and tried to make the best of our time here." Felix says, takes his time eating his food.

"What kind of dogs?"

"Pugs. Maya and Edgar. They died a long time ago... What about you? Did you have any pets? What did you do before the world practically ended?" Felix asks and turns towards the other man.

Cry sighs and chuckles "To be honest? I dropped out of high school when I was younger so I kind of just played video games, but then my brother said he was tired of seeing me waste away and that I could either stay in my small, runned down apartment, or that I could go with him. So I left my apartment and left my cat with my parents, and joined him."

Felix's quite shocked, because Cry seems like such a closed off guy. He didn't expect an answer really.

"What?" Cry asks, a small smile on his lips. "Nothing, I just didn't expect much of an answer. You're closed off mostly. Only brag about how good you are at combat." Pewds shrugs and Cry laughs.

Its a cute laugh. Like, adorable asf. It makes Pewds smile.

"Hey! Not all the time. And nahh, its good to just have an actual conversation with someone. I don't really mind sharing stories. Its fun." Cry says.

Felix puts his can down on the ground and sighs. "Does it get boring? Being lonely all the time?" He asks.

"No, its easier to just depend on myself. I don't have to watch out for someone else, I don't have to share food, or stay up until the other person finally goes to sleep because they might stab me in the back."

"I get that you're this bad guy or whatever, but really? They might stab you in the back?"

Felix can't see it but Cry side eyes him underneath the mask.

"Its not the fact that I'm a bad guy, its that people can have bad intentions." Cry says, and Felix snorts. "And you don't?" He asks.

"No, I do. For example, I plan on wiping out the Military, even my friends who are in there." Cry speaks and sits up, twists so he cracks his back. "You'd kill your friends?" Pewds asks, eyes wide. "I don't care about anyone." Is all Cry says and gets up.

"Let's put out the fire and go to bed. We still have a long journey to Florida."

These are short but guys, y'all don't understand the trouble I went through just to put that short clip of Cry laughing in there. (It was unnecessary but I was bored and thought why not?)

I wanna edit their voices and make this into an audio book but I know that I would do like the first couple of chapters and then stop.

Bc I'm a quitter.
