that feel when u hit writers block and its always at chapter 18 for whatever book you're writing. (꒦ິ^꒦ີ)

I legit don't know what to write y'all. This is stressing me out so much.

Cry knocks at Russ's door when night falls. He doesn't actually know if this is Russ's house, he's just guessing. Its next to his shop, so, he has a chance of being right.

There's screaming inside.

Marzia crosses her arms and leans against the wall, raises an eyebrow at the other. "They could be murdering each other in there for all we know. They could be cannibals. Maybe we're tonights dinner." Marzia gasps in fake surprise. "I hope they cut out your tongue first." Cry drawls.

She's about to punch him, but the door opens. "Cry, buddy! To be honest, I didn't think you'd come." Russ says, smiling.

He looks like a mess.

A child comes running around the corner and tugs at Russ's pants.

Cry's about had it with children today.

"You have a kid?" Cry asks, hesitantly. "You've been getting to know this lady really well, huh?" Cry adds, looks from the child to Russ. "What? Oh, ha, no" Russ laughs. "His mother asked us to watch him for a couple of hours. Hope its no trouble?"

"Of course not." Cry smiles, but really, he just wants to shoot himself.

"Anyways, come on in! I just started cooking." Russ says and moves to the side, allows the pair to walk in. "You could never cook for shit. If I end up getting poisoned, I'll kill you." Cry says and walks in, looks around. Marzia trails behind.

"Is that your friends? Helloo-oh." A woman with red hair turns the corner and stops talking as she sees the masked man before her.

Boy, has she heard stories.

"I see where the nickname Red comes from now." Cry says, off-handley to Russ. The woman is silent, tense. Her eyes shift from Cry to the short woman next to him, and she smiles. "Hi. I'm Red." She says, offers a hand to Marzia.

Marzia smiles and steps forward, shakes her hand. "I'm Marzia." She says and steps forward even further, hugs the lady.

She must've said something to her, because next thing you know, Red's face drains of all color.

She forces a smile when Marzia pulls away.

Interesting.

"Would you two like something to drink?" She asks, eyes sliding to Cry's mask but quickly flitting away each time. She's nervous. "Yeah, get us both a beer, if you have any. If not, just water will be fine." Marzia smiles and Red nods, turns and goes to the kitchen.
