"Why didn't you tell me this before?" Hawk meowed, his tail lashing in anger.

"I-I didn't know!" Feather mewed. "I'm sorry."

Hawk just looked away. "Look, I don't know what you and your, your leader-teller thinks, but I'm pretty sure I'm not what your looking for."

"B-But your name is Hawk!" Feather protested. "The hawk attack couldn't have been it! My leg is healed, and that other dream from the clans wouldn't have made sense!"

"I only know about the attack that is being planned." Hawk meowed. "I cant be that special."

Feather shook her head. "No, you are. Or something else is going to happen, that will make you special."

"And how do you know that?" Hawk asked.

"I don't know!" Feather mewed. "I asked for them to just tell me what is going to happen, but they just said that that is for me to find out."

Hawk just sighed. "Dumb dead tribe cats." He muttered.

"What?" Feather asked. "That is not how you respect our ancestors! They're trying to tell us something is going to happen, and we're supposed to interpret it!"

"Yea, a rouge attack is going to happen. What's so special about that?" Hawk meowed.

"I don't know." Feather admitted. "Look, I'm sorry for accusing you, but you're needed." At least I think you are... But you have to be.

Hawk nodded and got up. "What do you want then."

"Come with me." Feather told the tom as she got up. "And be quiet, so we don't get caught."

"This is your home?" Hawk asked as the two cats stopped in front of the river that the waterfall rushed into.

Feather stifled a mrrow of amusement. "No beetle-brain. Follow me."

As the small she-cat led Hawk up the trail that led to the cave, a screech of anger sounded from below.

"Rouge!"

Feather and Hawk both whipped around as a dark ginger tom raced up the trail, followed by Lion, Cloud, Mountain, and Mist.

"Pine!" Feather hissed as the ginger tom faced Hawk. "Leave him alone! He places no threat to the tribe!"

"Why is he here?" Pine growled as he slid out his claws. "Why are you bringing him to our cave?"

Feather lashed her tail. "That is none of your business. Now let me deal with this." Turning around, Feather continued stalking up the trail, followed by the dark golden tom. Leaving Pine and the rest of the patrol to carry on their duties, the two cats finally made it to the entrances.

"Wow." Hawk breathed.

Feather pointed her tail to the cave entrance on the far left. "That is the Nursery Cave. The big one in the middle is the main cave, the Cave of Rushing Water, and this one," Pointing her tail to the other cave, a smaller cave that led downward, "Is the Cave of Pointed Stones."

"Why three different caves?" Hawk asked, shivering at the cool breeze that came from the Cave of Pointed Stones.

"Because one isn't big enough to fit all of us." Feather purred. "Now we need to see the Teller of the Pointed Stones, as known as Stoneteller, before anything."

"No need."

Feather turned to the voice that came from the Cave of Pointed Stones, as a cream pelt padded out. "Stoneteller!"
