Rileigh's Pov

I am not a fighter. Nor am I am aggressive person. I tend to let people push me around. I do not belong here.

Lexi came up behind me and made me lose my train of thought. "Are you going to move on?" Lexi asked upset she got her days mixed up and wore a dress and heels to the training room. "Yeah sorry." I said. We were on a balance beam that is shaped and feels like a log. Mud was underneath me. I guess I took too long on taking a step. Because Lexi grabbed me by my shoulders and threw me into the mud and walked on.

Ugh what nerve. If I do get a chance to kill her she will die. Then I apologized in my mind. Sorry. What has these games made me in such a matter of time.

I get up and get out of the pool of mud. "What happened?" Nathaniel asked. He was sweaty from the practice room. He had a dagger strapped to his waist and a bow and quiver empty of arrows on his back. "Fell off." I lied as I was pointing to the log. "Are you okay?" He asked a little worried. Nathaniel was nice. A little scary but nice. "Yeah, thanks." I said smiling. I can't kill him, I thought. Me and him walked off to go to the fire building practice.

Colton's Pov

I can't believe it! I am here and I am going to win this year. We need a child of Ares to win it this year. I don't need anybody. Show I am ruthless, I thought. But as I thought thought this my eye got cought on a girl. She had sea green eyes and Carmel colored hair. She was so beautiful. She was so small too. Along with strong. That's enough to get any child of Ares going.

She turned around and started walking toward me. "Have a staring problem?" She asked. Her breath smelled of mint. "Huh? Me?" I said stunned. "Yes you!" She scolded. Her eyes were sparkling. "Um no." I said. Her jaw tightened. She looked amazing still. "I just think your cute!" I blurted out. I covered my mouth. Her jaw unhinged and her face turned red. "Addisyn!" Somebody yelled across the room. "Hold on!" She yelled back. "Me and you team final two?" She asked. I nodded and she went on her way. She was serious and cute. I had to relieve myself.

How did I do that? Well I went to a closed off room. I turned off the lights in that room. And I grabbed an axe.

Why did I turn off the lights to pick an axe? I wanted to surprise myself. See what I was going to work with.

Emma's Pov

Ugh so many boys, I thought. Why me? I did nothing wrong.  I am just a daughter of Nike. No, I don't have victorious trait that most posses but still. I had to practice with something besides a bow just in case there isn't one. Last year there wasn't.

"Emma!" Somebody yelled behind me. I turned and saw Kennedy running toward me. "Emma do you want to practice with me?" She asked out of breath. She was sweet. She would even harm a fly there was no reason what- so- ever to kill her. Honestly, I was worried about her. She would be easy to kill, said a little voice in my head. I quickly pushed it away. I wouldn't kill my best friend. Wow this has turned me into a damn monster.

"Damn the gods!" Kennedy yelled as someone said that the gods were awesome. She had a temper but was sweet most of the time.

A girlish voice was heard over the loud speaker. "Ten minutes 'Til lunch." Then it disappeared.  That made me miss camp. It oddly reminded me of the horn that calls us to eat. "We should get cleaned off." Someone said in the distance. "Let's get cleaned off."
