Perks of Being an Introvert

Project

So I'm in a Psychology class in College, and our semester project deals with a topic chosen by ourselves that isn't in the actual curriculum.  Guess what my topic is :D

That's right, the study of whether or not pink is a real color or if we should just call it light red.

Nope, it's general Myers Briggs Type Identification.  So luckily for me, I have already researched it for a year.  All be it I didn't do anything for a year after that but hey I know what I'm looking for.

Turns out there are hundreds of articles I have never seen but because of the large database that my school has I can access all of them, and I'm having fun researching different studies on MBTI that I would have never come across.

I've read multiple articles about the different uses of MBTI in psychology.  One stated that councilors use MBTI to help students realize what it is that they want to be when they get out of college, whether if it's in a different major or not.  I just recently wrote a report on gender studies and MBTI.  Which is all really fascinating to me.

So many people I know didn't know what MBTI is so I figured it would be harder to find articles on MBTI.  I've found articles of people who don't agree with it, I've found articles of people who find it amazing (such as myself) and I've found articles of people who want to figure out how to use it to help people.

So, I wanted to just inform you guys that although it might seem very boring to read I was thinking about maybe continuing to use these resources that my school provides to inform whoever wants to read these things on some recent studies including MBTI and some specifically introvertism.  

This book started out as a way for me to look at better things in life and how I can help other people like me find those things, and now I'm a happy person who loves this concept and wants other people to be in the know about some topics that can be connected to MBTI.  

Now obviously I don't want to write more APA style essays on these topics, and my writing style here is extremely different from the writing style for my class.  I'm going to just sound very exited about information that I think is really cool (cause I already do that).

I do want your opinions on it though.  If this is something we all want to hear then good, say so in the comments of this chapter or PM me, those are really the only ways I can be certain this is something other people will enjoy, because if you guys are going to find it lame then I might only do a few but if you're exited about it I'll do as many as you want me to.

I realize that I don't update this as often as some people would like, and that mostly has to do with the fact that I'm in college and working at the same Halloween store as last year and I'm trying to get other books planned out that I really want to write, and have already made covers and plot lines for.

I'm trying so hard to get back into the habit of writing because I have so many stories in my head that I want to get out but school and work are really getting in the way of that.

If you guys want actual psychological studies on MBTI comment or PM me a topic or just "ye boiii"
