Why is the internet a perk of being an introvert?

Okay onto the facts, or things you may believe as facts.
I spend over half of my time on the internet, and every introvert I've met does the same. We all do something on the World Wide Web that is special to us but it's the fact that we're on it that this is about.
The internet gives you socialization when needed and also gives you something to do instead of stare at the wall (not a fun option).
I watch YouTube on the internet all the time (again currently doing so) and some of my friends are people who read on the internet or connect with strangers in WoW (If you don't understand that it's World of Warcraft, I don't play but I know people who do)
The point is that introverts use the internet to recharge and by doing that we are happy.
No matter what you do on the internet it makes you happy, you wouldn't be doing it if it didn't.
*A/N sorry that this is short I'm sick right now but it came to me in a weird sneeze because I realized how much time I spend accessing the internet.
Also Fun Fact: there are more fake pink flamingos than there are real pink flamingos
