Chapter No. 1:Bullied For Being Fat

Life is beautiful and a blessing from God. There is a famous saying that goes, 'Sing like no one's listening, dance like no one's watching and live like it's heaven on Earth,' but for some people it is the most painful thing. Life is not as beautiful as it looks − it is a burden.

Not because they don't want to accept the happiness, but because of the people who make their life hell. I'm one of them. My life is not as perfect as I want. I want to accept every flaw of myself but people have made it difficult to love myself. It is not only me. This churlish world we live in criticizes everyone. In order to live in here, we need an approval; an approval that we should be as perfect as a plastic doll. Other than this silicon plastic dolls, we are unacceptable. They point out everyone for their flaws

She is so skinny.

Ew, she's fat.

Look at her, She is so fake.

My life was pretty much good, and I was surviving in this cruel world. They were making my life like hell but somehow I was adapting to live this world.

''Anna, hurry up,'' I heard the soft voice of my mom, ''Emily's waiting in her car.''

My mom is in her late thirties but still looks as young as twenty-five. I have some features like mom. We have the same blonde hair, though mine is lighter. Her nose is slim, while mine is a little small. She is tall with a petite body, and I am average height, but with a heavy body. I am 235 pounds.

''Coming mom,'' I replied, picking up all my stuff.

''Anna, you are always late,'' she said, a slight whine in her voice.

I kissed her and grabbed a chocolate muffin, ''Bye mom.''

''C'mon Anna, we are almost late.'' My best friend, Emily, was waiting in her red Audi. She was looking exhausted, but I grinned.

Stuffing the muffin in my mouth, I sat in passenger seat, securing the belt across my fat belly. I glanced at Emily as she turned on the radio. We were childhood best friends. With her beautiful brown hair and eyes, along with her equally beautiful body, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. She was the type of girl who could pull off wearing a floral crop top with skinny jeans.

She never hated me because of my weight. She was my best friend since I moved here from Boston. I fought for her when a boy was trying to bully her in 2nd Grade.

Every Sunday, we went to the ice cream parlor. Now our friendship seemed like the best place, if only High school wasn't here.

''Emily, I have a plan for weekend,'' I said excitedly, ''meet me in the cafe after class!''

She replied quickly, ''I'm so bored and exhausted from this school.''

After a few minutes we stopped in the parking lot of school and I unbuckled my belt, quickly grabbing my bag. ''Okay then, meet me after class."

''Bye!'' she replied.

Emily and I have different schedules, so we only meet during free time at school. I stood outside the school and looked at the board, which read as Central City High School. Taking small steps in the hallway, I quickly got mixed in with all the people. High school is the most painful part for a girl like me because people need someone to make fun of. They always needed someone to make fun of. I was the one for their entertainment.
