Ch no 13:What Have I done
~Lewis P.O.V.~I opened my eyes as I blinked two or more times. The sunlight was hurting my eyes and my eyelids felt heavy. My head was throbbing like a hammer. Everything felt upside down, like I had been drinking all night. I'm not fond of drinking, I usually drink one or two shots just for fun, because keeping myself healthy and fit is not easy. I was suffering from worst hangover ever. I ran my hands over my forehead.
Looking around, I found myself tangled inside a bed with someone in a different room. I tried my best to get out of the bed. Taking a look at the brunette girl in the bed, I frowned: she was Emily, Anna's best friend.
What happened last night?
Noticing that I was awake, Emile smiled coyly at me. ''Good morning, babe.''
I stare at her with anger and confusion.
Babe? Why I am here? How did I end up with her?
''What the fuck am I'm doing here?'' I glowered at her, ''And what are you doing here with me?''
''Nothing, we were just having some fun," she said, her edges of her lips tugged up in a smug smile. ''You are very good in bed.''
I wanted her to stop talking with me in her hoarse voice. It was so disgusting; it made me angry. I just didn't want to sleep with someone while I was drunk. Sleeping with a person like her was not like me. I was not believing her at that time. How can a girl be like this? How can she agree on spending a night with a random guy?
''Shut up." Trying to keep my voice calm I added, ''just tell me, WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT?''
''Lewis, do I really need to explain everything?'' she leered and winked. She covered herself with sheets and sat up on bed.
I was trying my best to control my anger. I didn't want to cross a line between a guy and girl, but she was making me so frustrated by winking and trying to act sexy. But I hate that type of stuff. It only explained that this girl didn't have any self respect for herself. I was so nervous and unsure about last night's incident. I was unaware of anything that happened between me, Emily. But my gut was giving me signals that nothing had happened between us.
''Hey, I am not here for your whore looks!'' Giving her a glare, I tried to slip on my jumper which I found on the floor. ''Why don't you have self-respect? Why do you want to sleep with any random guy?''
At this her smirk was gone and she was squinting her eyes like she was not believing my words. For a second she was just sitting and trying to figure out something. But I couldn't wait there for her to speak.
''Just tell me what happened last night.'' I fumed at her. ''I can't wait here for a day for you to speak.''
Widening her eyes, Emily pressed her body closer to the bed. ''Jesus, Lewis, calm down. Nothing happened."
''They were laughing, uh... at Anna!'' I murmured as my memory started to come back.
Pressing my hand to my head, I tried to think harder: Anna was crying, trying to ignore the dread filling up my mind.
She could be hurt. What if she found out that Emily slept with me? I was not sure what happened last night.
Suddenly, I heard a horn from a car from behind. Taking in a deep breath, I started the car and ran my hand nervously through my hair. Where should I go? Who can tell me what happened? Why were they laughing at Anna?
Without even realizing, I found myself outside Jason's house. Jason knew everything about everyone. As a ex-boyfriend of school's bitchy girl, he became a male version of gossip girls. Ringing the doorbell, I didn't have to wait long for him to open the door. Jason, Austin and me are childhood friends, but Austin changed a lot. Austin started to bully many people in high school because he thought it would make him cool. Jason and I totally figured out that something was wrong with Austin. That is why he always behaved so aggressively.
