Chapter No. 7: More than Just friends

~Anna P.O.V~

He turned my face toward me as he wiped the tears away from my face. My heart raced at his touch. There was a tingling sensation when his hands made contact with my skin. My weeping was suddenly stopped. I glanced at him, he was looking at my lips. He tucked my hairs behind my ears. The butterflies were not there, the pandas were dancing in my pit of stomach.

He again stared at my lips.

Within a second, he crushed his lips on mine. He kissed me, and without any control,I kissed him back. I closed my eyes and tasted him. His breath was fresh mint mixed with a little bit of chocolate. Like he had eaten a chocolate.

I love chocolates so I kissed him more.

Our lips were moving in sync,I never thought kissing felt this good and... beautiful. I desired that it would last forever and never end. Yet, it was only for a few seconds before I broke away.

Stupid me

I was breathless and trying to suck air back into my lungs.

He held my face in both of his hands and brushed my hair out of my face. I was numb and a shiver ran down my spine. We sat there, looking at each other, and said nothing. Nonetheless, it was the kind of nothing that meant everything. It was my first kiss, and it was with the one I wanted to have my first kiss. Adrenaline rushed in my veins and it was making me so excited. He smiled after we broke our starting.

I was the one who looked away. My cheeks were flushed after this.

He held my hand as we walked to a nearby Starbucks. I followed him without saying a word.

''One light mocha and one double chocolate mocha," he ordered.

''How did you know my favorite drink?'' I asked incredulously as we sat down at a nearby table.

''I've seen you order this before," he replied.

My heart was flipping up and down.... Due to different emotions.

Excitement. Nervousness. Confusion and Affection.

''Thanks,'' I thanked him, as I took a sip.

He nodded with a same sweet smile.

''So, what happened at the audition?" he asked as he took a sip from his drink.

I tried not to sob again as I thought back to an hour ago.

''That's the reason I was crying. They didn't give me a chance to perform.'' My voice was wobbly and I forced back my tears. I didn't want to ruin the perfect moments.

"I'm so sorry that happened. But, don't worry. You can audition tomorrow and I'll make sure this never happens again," he told me as he sit up from his chair and kissed me on the cheek.

My cheeks turned red and my body began to sweat. I was not nervous, but felt strange feelings, which I desired. The butterflies in my stomach were transforming into dragons. It felt so good to be with him. My phone vibrated and I glimpsed at it. I saw twenty-five missed calls from mom and a ton of missed messages.

''Can you give me a ride home?'' I gulped.

Even at just five missed calls, it was a bad and I'd be in trouble.

He nodded and smiled. ''Sure.''

Throwing our cups in the nearby dumpster, we walked back outside.
