Chapter 5

Tyler and Josh go to their date at a local café. The café has a karaoke stage and a piano. The boys walk into the café. "Ohhh we should try karaoke." Tyler squealed. "You can I really can't sing." Josh laughed. They both order their drinks, Punkin spice lattes with extra whipped cream.

"Ok next up Tyler Joseph." Tyler got up onto the stage. He breathed in and out. He started to play the piano.

Turn away.

If you could get me a drink of water
Cause my lips are chapped and faded

Call my aunt Marie

help her gather all my things

And bury me in all mu favorite colors

My sister and my brothers still

I will not kiss you

Cause the hardest part of this

Is leaving you.

Everyone cheers. Tyler gets up and walks back to Josh after saying thank you.

"That was one of my favorite songs by them"

"Oh my god its mine too!"

"Tyler? Wanna go somewhere else?"

"Yeah where?"

"Its a SURPRISE!"

With that Josh grabbed Tylers wrist and pulled him out to his car. They got in and Josh drove to this surprise location.

They pulled up to a big house and there was music blasting. Tyler was kinda nervous. Josh was excited. Josh loves parties. "This is my friend Ashley's house. Her parents are never home so she throws parties all the time." Josh explained to Tyler as they got out of the car.

They walk up to the door and walk in. A girl screams from the top of the stairs. "JOSHHHHHHH" the girl has long blue hair. She looks like a blueberry. She runs down the stairs and hugs Josh.

" I haven't seen you in like 3 months."

" i know i know"

She lets go of Josh and looks at Tyler. The biggest grin in the world is formed on her face. She puts out her hand to shake his hand. "IM ASHLEY BUT YOU CAN CALL ME HALSEY." she had to scream over the song blasting throughout the house. "NICE TO MEET YOU IM TYLER"  Tyler tried to speak his loudest. They decide to go to the kitchen,where its a little quieter, to get drinks.

"So when were you going to tell me about your boyfriend?" Ashley popped the question. Josh chokes on his drink in surprise, but laughs it off.

"Oh um we're not. Uh together. I mean we're on a date right now but not together really." Josh said a little awkwardly.  " Then what the fuck am I doing here? You two go and dance in the living room." She takes both of the boys' wrists and starts pulling them into the living room fighting through kids dancing and talking. The living room was big. Ashley must've replaced the regular light bulbs with some blue and purple ones. There are fairy lights hung up all over the walls. There are a bunch of teens dancing to some random song by some random band. Ashley stopped walking and let them go. "Now get back to your date." She left talking to a group of other teens.

Tyler and Josh started moving his head to the music. The a familiar  what if came through the speakers. They both looked at each other and gasped. Tyler became more comfortable dancing to one of his favorite singers. Josh started dancing too. In the middle of the song a girl bumped into Tyler and knocked him into Josh's chest. Josh looked up at who did this and Ashley smirked and winked at Josh. Josh looks back down and they are stuck in each others daze. It felt like no one was around them. Josh put his hand on Tyler's face and leans down and kisses him. Tyler kisses Josh back. They are there for a good minute that feels like an hour.  Josh pulls back and look at Tyler. "Tyler, wanna be my boyfriend?"  Tyler smiles super hard "of course" Tyler kisses Josh again and they stay there longer then the one before
