Chapter 19

*TIME JUMP*
Josh pov

  I'm finally back at my dorm. I can remember a little from my life. I can remember important things like my name, school, family and etc..  The thing is I can remember that guy Tyler's face but no context with it. Speaking of Tyler. Our date is in 30 minutes!  I can't wait. I don't know what to wear.

  I get up out of my bed which I've been in since I got out of my classes today. I hop into the shower then I get out and grab my ripped jeans, red flannel, black tshirt, and my black Vans snapback. I grab my car keys and my bag with my bathing suit and towel and  head out the door. I hope this goes well.

Tyler's p.o.v

  Is it weird that I'm 30 minutes early? Yeah probably. God, please don't let me be weird. I planned our date to be a picnic on the beach. Its like 4:30 so I set out the blanket on the hood of my car. 
   
      I see Josh's car start to drive through the entrence. I signal him to pull up next to my car. There is basically no one here.

     Josh gets out of his car and oh lord he looks so adorable. We embrace each other with a passion filled hug. He's so warm. We let go but I wish we don't. I look down because I feel the blood fill my cheeks when I look into Josh's melting brown eyes that the sun's glow colors an even lighter brown.

Josh- So what are we gonna do? Its so pretty here

Tyler- I thought we could have some food, watch the sunset, and talk about life I guess.

Josh: Sounds like a plan to me.

I turn and help him onto the car then I jump next to him. I pull the taco bell box from out of the picnic basket.

Josh: Very classy

  We both laugh. We start to talk about our favorite music, movies, colors. We even talked about our most embarrassing stories.

   Finally the sunsets. I look over at Josh and he's already looking at me.

Josh: You look so adorable when you're interested in something.

Tyler: You do too.

    I lean in closer about to kiss him.

Josh's pov

Oh God it about to happen. I lean in closer closing the gap in between our lips. It feels like fire is burning in our lips but I don't want it to stop. Then every single memory I've ever had with this brown haired squishy boy starts to flow back.

   I pull away and look at Tyler.

Tyler:  Sorry was this all too soon?

Josh: No Tyler! I remember! I remember everything!

Tyler: REALLY? wait. Everything?

Tyler looks down ashamed.

Josh: Yes. But I don't care. I really don't we are together now.

   Tyler's head shoots back up. We kiss again and even more fire pours though my lips but the fire is hotter and more desirable. But this time Tyler pulls away.

Tyler: I want to show you something.

Tyler took my hand and pulled me into his passanger seat of his car. I buckled up my seat belt as he took all the stuff off the car and threw it in the backseat. He got in, buckled up, and drove away.

Josh: where are we going?

Tyler grabbed my hand and turned to me.

Tyler: You'll see.

And with that he smiled big and goofy like.

*TIME JUMP*

Third person p.o.v

They finally pulled up to a side of some cliff. They could see the city lights glowing up into the night sky but they could still see the well lit stars glowing. There was a small forest on one side of the cliff.

Tyler gets out of the car and sits on the ground 10 feet away from the cliff. Josh follows and sits right next to him. Tyler leans his head onto Josh's shoulder.

Tyler: When I was little and my parents would always fight I would come out here. They never knew. They would fight so much they wouldn't check on my siblings or I. I guess they would always assume I was with the younger ones. I would come out here and just sit and imagine the future.

Josh just sat and listened. He was taking in the view and the smooth way Tyler talked. Josh leaned his head onto Tyler's. He slowly fell asleep.

Tyler heard light snores and let Josh's head fall more onto him so he could manage to pick him up. Tyler brung him to the car. He started to drive away. Tyler had to avoid pot holes to not disturb his punk angel.

Tyler (wispering): Fricking government. What do I pay taxes for?

*TIME JUMP*

Tyler put Josh down into his dorm bed. He kisses sleeping Josh's forehead as a signal of his departure. As Tyler was turning around Josh lightly grabbed his hand.

Josh (softly): stay

Josh moved over to make room. Tyler laid next to him.  Tyler wrapped his arms around Josh's waist and closed his eyes.

Josh (both still softly and with their eyes closed): Tyler?

Tyler: mmhm?

Josh: you know I still love you, right?

Tyler: you know I still love you too, right?

Josh giggles

Josh: yes of course

Tyler: I'm really so sorry...about everything. Like hurting you and the crash an-

Tyler's voice begins to shake. Josh takes notice. Tears start to fall down Tyler's still closed eyes.

Josh: shhhh please don't worry. Its okay. Everything is okay. Just. Just promise me you'll never do that again.

Tyler kisses Josh.

Tyler: I promise on my life.

Josh: Good

They cuddle for the rest of the night and fall asleep in each other's arms.
