Chapter 18

I took a lil not so lil break from wattpad well Im back now!

Tyler's p.o.v

Lights of blue and red hit my face and make me look up.

"They're here" I say softly but they cant hear me because Halsey went back with Josh.

  I'm such a idiot. I brake up with him because hes into me too much but when he isn't I feel unwanted, unloved, useless. Why do I have to be so dumb? Why do I do these things?

   The paramedics up Josh and put him in the ambulance. They check Hals and I, we were fine just minor cuts and bruises. My car is totaled. Now I have to call my mom to get Hals and I.

*time jump*

"Oh my baby are you okay? Hows Josh and are y- I'm sorry I didnt catch your name" My mom came rushing to me and Ashley.

"Im Ashley. Its terrible we're meeting this way but its nice to meet you" Ashely takes her hand and shakes it. My mother shakes it back and kindly smiles. "Well lets gets a gonin" she pulls us to the car. 

We make small talk until we get to the hospital. she lets us out and confirms shes coming to get us in 2 hours to bring us back to the university.

We walk in the hospital and find Josh's room. Hes up and awake. I cant bring myself to look at him but Ashley leaps forward into Josh's arms. She quickly retreats because of his groan in pain.

"Im so happy you're okay Joshy" Ashley qurked up. But I was still silent just sitting in the chair closer to the door. Josh looks at her happy but still in pain. He then looks at me, my eyes shoot away from him. His head cocks to the side and his eyebrow lifts.

"Hey aren't you that guy from the accident. Uh yeah Im sorry I freaked out on you I was just in a accident." He seems shy. It breaks my heart. But before I could answer him the doctor cane in.

"Hello Im Dr. Martin. May I speak to Mr. Dun's girlfriend or..uh um boyfriend?" He looks down to me. I get up and start to follow the doctor. Josh stiffins up.

"But I dont have a-"

"So Josh how was the ride over here?"

Ashley cut Josh off and he continued to stare over at us as we walked into the hall. The doctor turned to me.

"Listen he hit his head pretty hard and he's experiencing some memory loss so Joshua will have to be here for a few days. But when he gets back we need you to try to get him back to where he left off "

I nod my head to acknowledge my understanding and head back into the room.  I felt like the room is spinning. I just lost him. How can I be so dumb? I had him in my hands. But I lost him in the blink of an eye.

  I need to leave and clear my head. I'm going back to campus. I start to walk out. But I have to tell my mom to just pick up Hals.

Tyler: hey I'm going to find my own way back to campus because I have to clear my mind. But Ashley is still here she might still need you to get her. Is that okay with you?

Mama💞: Yes sweetie. But are you okay? I hope you're fine. Text me when you get to your dorm so I know you're okay.

Tyler: Thank you mama. Yes I am fine its been a very hectic night and day. And of course mama. Thanks love you💖

I went back to the hospital room to tell Hals I'm leaving. As I walked about to turn in I stop right before they could see me. They were giggling about something. I can't exactly hear it though. So I turn into the room. They almost instantly stop talking.

Tyler- Hals. I'm gonna go to the campus but my mom is going to come and get you. I just need to clear my mind.

Hals- okay see you later Tyler. But before you go Josh has to ask you something.

Tyler- oh uh okay sure.

Josh- well I know you and I just met and I yelled im your face when you tried to help me. But do you kinda sorta wanna go out with me?

I look up to Hals and she nodds hopefully.

Tyler- yeah sure.

I turn around and start to leave. When I walk out of the door I hear girly sounding giggles again.

I smile. Josh makes me feel confused and happy all at once. He's the tear in my heart.

Ok so I'm going to try to be more active on here. I might not post everyday but a whole lot more than before.
