It was well past midnight when Red finally left the Oran Berry pub, although she was barely even tipsy as she walked down the deserted streets of Castelia, her hood down for once as her face was rather warm. As she walked past an alleyway, Red heard a small whimper of pain, and when she looked, the sight before her nearly made her sick.
A pack of Gliscor were surrounding something, attacking with all their might. The small thing they were attacking was an Eevee, that looked extremely weakened, barely able to put up a fight. Red saw a particularly large splatter of blood, and she knew that if she didn't step in, this Eevee would die.
"Hey!" She yelled, running up to the Gliscor as she released Bubbles from her Pokéball. Without needing a command, Bubbles launched a Hidden Power at the Gliscor, and they all fled after being dealt a serious amount of damage.
Once she was sure the Gliscor pack had gone, Red gently picked up the Eevee to avoid causing it more pain, before starting to run to the Pokemon Centre, pulling her hood up as she went.
