Jump!

Part 13. Anger.

Red still hadn't been able to shake the eery feeling she had had since she stole Xavier's crown and heard that voice. That name...her birth name...had been shouted out, in her direction. A shiver ran down Red's spine as she walked, blending into the crowd as she had her hood up, with Laila beside her. There was no way that anyone could know her name...

As Red had been looking down, she accidentally walked into someone, but as they were both going slow, neither of them fell over. However, when Red looked up, she wished she hadn't as she saw the punk who had spread her appearance around town. Fletcher.
"I'm sor-" Fletcher began, before he saw Red's eyes. He was dressed in casual clothes, meaning he was probably having a day off. "You..." he mumbled, but before he could do anything else, Red darted down a nearby alleyway. Fletcher immediately followed, releasing Hunter from his PokéBall to join the chase.

As Red was running, she heard the same voice she had heard before, once again calling out her real name. It was then that it clicked. She stopped, turning to face Fletcher, who had now caught up to her. "I'm not going to arrest you..." Fletcher half panted, getting his breath back. "I just want to talk to you, B-"
"HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT NAME!?" Red nearly screamed at him, her fists tightly clenched.
"I found your file...I know what happened to your parents-"
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" Red was seething with rage, her teeth were grinding together and her balled fists shaking. "YOU KNOW NOTHING!"
"C-calm down..." Fletcher backed away slightly as Hunter started to growl, feeling threatened.
"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, YOU PUNK!"

Just then, Bubbles floated down, facing Red. Fletcher, of course, was shocked to suddenly see a Duosion, but at seeing her, Red seemed to calm down. Bubbles then turned to face Fletcher, and shot what looked like some sort of box at him. Fletcher flinched, his eyes shutting for a moment, and once he reopened them, he was surrounded by what looked like walls of psychic energy, which faded away after a while. And once they had faded, Red had vanished.
