Bubbles led Fletcher and Silver back to Marvellous Bridge, before pointing over the edge to the water below. At this motion, both of the boys' eyes widened in horror.
"No..." Fletcher ran to the edge and looked to the fast-flowing river, for a flash of red, any sort of sign. Upon seeing nothing, he called out for Red, using the name he knew she hated. Her real name.
"What the hell!? We're looking for Red, not B-"
"It's her real name, okay? Did you really think her real name was Red?"
"My real name is Silver!"
"We shouldn't be arguing about this, she could be dead!"
"Calm down!" Silver sighed, looking at the river, before going to the other side of the bridge. "Look, the river flows this way, we should follow it and see if she managed to get out of the river somewhere along the way." Fletcher sighed before nodding his head, and set off to follow the river with Silver, Bubbles, Laila and Terror behind him, Aurora sleeping peacefully in his arms.

After what seemed like hours of running, Silver and Fletcher reached a parting in the trees that lined the edges of the river. There were a few large stones sunk into the earth, leading into the expanse of forest, and without hesitation Fletcher started to follow them.
"Fletcher!? Where the hell are you going!?"
"To find her!" Fletcher shouted back, breaking into a sprint. "I'm not going to let her go!"
