A/N: Here, have some dream team and crazy Ranawat with a hit of Sandhir tashan.
Parth had always been interested in people more than he was in machines. The reason was simple: machines could be replicated. People? Not so much.
Each member of the dream team was unique in their own way. Especially in the way their belief system worked.
Parth had spent too much of his own thought process thinking about people and how their brains and feelings must work. It was inevitable that he would try to figure out the psyche of his teammates. He'd known them for a week now, and had spent enough time with each to build a more or less working analysis.
With Azaan, it was easy. The hazel eyed boy was a perfectionist through and through. He worried and nitpicked over small details and wanted things to be just right. He was also the slightest bit of a pessimist. But he was careful and the team needed someone who took into account the worst case scenarios and the precautions to be taken.
Isha, he knew too well. She was happy go lucky, an optimist on the extreme end. She had to be constantly reminded of the seriousness of the task, but her spatial intelligence was unmatched. Shapes and patterns came almost naturally to her. If nothing, she could always be counted on to make the team an enthusiastic one.
Jignesh was more or a less the text book example of a nerd. Soft spoken and mostly found in the library, the Gujarati boy always seemed to have an aura of anxiety and urgency. He took everything seriously and often got irritated when things did not go according to his plan.
Sahil, calm and observant one of the group, was someone who could blend in very easily. He rarely spoke, but his inputs were always thought out. Parth felt slightly wary of how easy it was to relax around Sahil. It was not easy to truly know Sahil, because Sahil was so low-key.
Sanyukta on the other hand, was determined. She was confident and intelligent. She had strong leadership qualities and the boldness to speak her opinion without showing if she was intimidated. She was consistent. She could be counted on. She could be trusted.
But what bothered Parth was if Randhir would accept Sanyukta as the Captain.
The conflict and tension between them had not gone unnoticed.
Randhir was intelligence and all impulse. A deadly cocktail. A disaster waiting to happen. Or a miracle. He insisted on his way or the highway. His temper wasn't one that would be called mild. His confidence bordered on reckless. His lack of consideration about consequences was disturbing. If Randhir were to be captain, it could be either a good thing or an apocalypse.
And then, there was Vidushi.
Parth had learnt about her from her parents. They'd told him she was a rebellious, headstrong girl who wanted a happily ever after. She'd been the kind of girl who did not hesitate to create trouble if it meant she had her way. She'd been the most popular girl in boarding school and had minions instead of friends.
"She's a spoilt child, but she is my only child, and the heiress to my company." Vidushi's father had sighed.
Parth's insides had twisted at the way the company was offered to him, as a bribe of sorts, so he would accept the proposal from Mr. Kumar.
But then, he'd seen the picture. Her picture.
And he knew that before he gave his answer, he had to know her.
Did he know her yet?
Perhaps not completely.
But he had spent more time observing her than he had anyone else. He'd seen enough to know that she was determined and passionate. He'd seen her dance secretly. This made him deduce that she was passionate and a romantic. She liked the control that doing things her own way gave her. But most of all, she craved attention and acceptance.

FanfictionHe was used to people leaving him. She was used to people hurting her. What they weren't used to was having some one stay and actually give a damn about them. My first and perhaps only Sandhir centric story. Advice on writing them is most welcome...
