Chapter 10

Tomorrow VidCon was starting, but everyone was going to arrive a day early so you can get in your hotel room and settle in for the night. That's just what I was doing. Joe was also coming for the weekend, so that was a big deal for me too.

For that weekend, Jenny wasn't going to the VidCon either so she could take care of Lacey, but since Sawyer was a big deal on YouTube nowadays, he was going to drive with me.

I got over to their apartment building and got all Bryce and Nyielle's stuff out of the car. I was wearing a black sleeveless crop top with black and red boyfriend shirt, dark washed jeans, and black combat boots. It was in the 70s today, but it was still a bit hot for the outfit, but I really didn't mind.

I go up to there apartment building and knock on their door to reveal Jenny, who was wearing a yellow and orange sundress with brown sandals and her hair down.

"Hey, you ready to go?" She hugged me. I put their bags in the living room and carry them both in and onto the couch.

"Yeah, where's Sawyer?" I asked as I placed Nyielle down gently.

"He's in the room, finishing up packing." She pointed over to their room. "You know how time flies so fast?"

"Well that's so completely random...but, yeah. Times been flying fast recently."

"Yeah, like one minute you and Joey are just meeting, madly in love. Then the next you both have two kids and are getting a divorce."

I looked down at my feet, trying not to cry. "Yeah, I guess you're right." I then pity laughed.

"Okay, I'm all set." I heard sawyer's voice come into the room, which made my head shoot up to see him wearing a white t-shirt with black cargo pants and black and white adidas.

"Okay then, you ready?" I asked, wiping the tear coming down my cheek.

"Yeah, let's go." He went over and kissed Jenny's lips passionately then gave Lacey a kiss on the cheek. I gave Bryce and Nyielle on their temples and began to walk out the door as Sawyer followed.

"Bye." We said at the same time as everyone else waved. Jenny closed the door behind us and we went down to my car. He put his bag in my back seat and we piled in to the car with me driving.

"You wanna get some snacks before we get on the road?" I asked him, starting up the car.

"Sure, we can get some food. Let's just go to the 7/11 up the street."

"Alright then." I began to pull out of the driveway and get onto the road. After we stopped at the 7/11, we were on our way to the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and I parked my car at the parking lot right next to it. Sawyer already wanted to get out and check in, so i let him out and went to go find a space.

When I got a space, I texted Joe and asked where he was. He said he just showed up to the hotel, and butterflies tickled in my stomach. I get out with my stuff and go to the front of the hotel. I look around for him and I see Caspar Lee instead. I go up to him, wondering if he knew were Joe was. He was wearing a white shirt with light jeans and white converse.

"Caspar, you know where Joe is?" I asked him, still looking around.

"Uh..he just went into the hotel, looking for you." I ran into the hotel and see him right away.

"Joe!" I screamed as he turned his attention towards me and a straight smile went on his face. We ran up to each other until my hands came in contact with his neck, his made contact with my waist, and my lips made contact with his.

"I missed you so much." He mumbled in between the kiss.

I smiled. "I missed you too."

We then release, smiling stupidly at each other. I was so happy to be back in his arms.

"Can you please spend the night with me? I don't wanna sleep by myself." I asked him when we got off the elevator. His arm was around my neck and my head was on his shoulder.

"No, Nina. I need to get settled in for the weekend." Joe answered.

"So what, you can share a house with Caspar for all this time, but you don't wanna share a bed with your girlfriend for a night?" I pouted.

"Sorry, love." He dropped me off at my room and kissed me on the cheek. "I'll see you when we get dinner tonight."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine, Joseph." I got out my room card and open the door. I look at him strutting down the hallway. "Nice 🍑, Suggy."

He turned around and laughed. I laughed with him. I went in the room and looked around. There was a whole view of Anaheim. It was beautiful.

I put my bag and my purse on the bed and looked on the desk. There was a guide to everything from the TV channels to where the best places to go in the city were. I looked at the TV channels, turned on the tv, and started watching MTV for a while.

I suddenly began to get a FaceTime call from Joe.

I answer it and when his face comes up, the first thing he says is, "I'm bored."

I giggled a bit. "I told you to hang out with me, but you said no."

"Because I didn't think I would settle down so quickly."

"Soo what I'm hearing is, you are gonna spend the night with me?" I ask, slightly biting my lip again.

He sighed. "Fine. I guess I can." I clapped with a smile on my face.

"Yay."

"Alright, I'll be there in 5."

"Kay." I then hung up the phone and began to scream into my pillow with joy.

I'm so excited to be joined with my sweet again.

I remember I read this one fanfic where Joey proposed to his girlfriend at VidCon and she ended up getting shot in the head...

I cried for three whole days😭
