--Riley--

"Wh-Who are you?" I asked.

She stared at me blankly. I stood up, looking at her intently. She looked behind her shoulders, like she was looking for someone.

"I'm talking to you." I told her.

Her eyes widened. She started looking around in panic. She looked at me again, a terrified look on her face.

"What are-" I couldn't finish my sentence because she took off running. I stood there motionless for a couple of seconds. For some odd reason, I felt like I had to follow her.

"Hey, wait!" I called out, running after her. "Wait!"

I was a bit faster than her, so when I was near enough, I grabbed her arm, making her lurched to a halt. She froze, like she was scared to death or a monster caught her. She didn't look at me, she kept her head low so I couldn't see her face. That's when I noticed her hair was dyed red, like a red velvet cupcake, like Ariana Grande in Victorious. She was wearing a mini dress covered with hearts, a pair of leggings and was carrying a bow and arrow. Oh no.. she was like a female version of diaper guy. She even had fake wings. I thought this would annoy me. One look of a girl dresse like this and I'll ignore her. But there was something intriguing about her, and I think that's what made me follow her.

"Why did you run? Are you scared of people or something?" that question left my mouth all of a sudden. She didn't respond. She remained motionless, like she was really frozen in fear.

"Hey are you scared?" I asked more softly. She heaved a sigh. Slowly, she turned to look at me. One glimpse of her eyes and I froze. Those can't be contact lenses. Her eyes were pink.. as pink as the sky when the sun sets. But that wasn't what shocked me, in those eyes, there was something I couldn't put my finger on. The moment I saw those eyes, I froze. I was stunned, or maybe hypnotized.

"Let. Me. Go." the girl stated coldy, snapping me back to reality.

"I..." I looked for the right words.

"I said, let go!" she snapped.

"I'm sorry." I said softly, letting go of her arm. She took a few steps back, still looking at me. I looked straight into her eyes and that's when she took off running.

I stood there stunned for while.

Who was she?

Why did she run away?

Why were her eyes pink?

Why did she have a bow and arrow?

Why is her hair red?

Why was she dressed like diaper guy?

Why do I wanna know all these things?

Why am I thinking hard?

Am I going crazy?!

"OMG! You're Riley McDonough! Can I have your autograph?" a high-pitched voice broke my train of thoughts.

"Oh.. sure." I said, still a little stunned.

I got back to our hotel room, only to find that it was empty. I plopped down on the couch staring at nothing.

"Cold, cold, cold..." I heard Connor's voice said as he and Toby walked in the room. I looked at them and saw Connor soaking wet and Toby laughing at him.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I-I f-fell.." Connor stuttered.

"He decided to swim to the middle of a lake because of his wild imaginations." Toby stated and I raised my eyebrow.

"Shut up and make me some hot chocolate Toby." Connor demanded.

"Karma." I mocked him.

"You're not mad?" he asked me.

"Nah, karma does my revenge for me." I joked. I can't stay mad at my brothers even if I wanted to.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny." he said sarcastically.

"Why did you fell in the first place? How did you get to the middle?" I asked.

"You won't believe me." he sighed.

"I think if I told you what I saw earlier, you wouldn't believe me either." I mumbled.

"What did you see?" he asked. I sighed.

~Avery~

I stopped, catching my breath. What the hell was that?!  How can he see me?! I started hyperventilating. Okay, I need to calm myself.

Okay, Avery, calm yourself... Breathe... Breathe.... Get a hold of yourself... Calm down...

HOW CAN HE SEE ME?!

HOW?!

HOW?!

HOW?!

HOW?!

HOW?!

Humans. Are. Not. Suppose. To. See. Me.

Maybe he wasn't human. I was sure he was. Maybe he wasn't, but maybe he was, but-- I'm freaking out am I? I heaved a sigh. I need a break.

I used up all my arrows anyway, maybe I should just go home. I took a deep breath, then teleported back home.

"Hey, sweetie! How was your day?" My mom asked, immediately engulfing me in a hug. I forced a smile on my tired face.

"It was awesome. Humans are quite interesting." I laughed.

"Indeed they are. Did you hear anyone screaming hot dogs?" my dad asked. I looked at him, tilting my head to the side.

"What are hot dogs?" I asked, confused. "Are they like, a breed of a dog or something?"

My dad laughed. "That's exactly what I thought when I first heard about them, but they're actually food."

"They eat dogs?!" I asked, my voice full of disgust.

"No, they just call them 'hot dogs'. But they're not actually dogs." my dad laughed.

"Oh." I said, a yawn escaping my lips.

"Tired?" my dad teased.

"You're tired, you need a rest." my mom chuckled.

"I know. I'm gonna go take a nap. Wake me up for dinner." I said, flying up to my room. I opened the door and with a sigh, I closed the door and plopped down on my bed. Exhausted would be the best word to desribed me right now. I hid my face in my pillow, letting out a groan which sounded like a weird sound because my face was buried in my pillow. Yep, I am really, really exhausted.

Just before I fell asleep, an image of the guy earlier popped into my brain.
