Mississippi's POV

{~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~}

Once our bus got to school, Jade and I got off the bus  laughing at random things. Who knew I would talk to a student this much? Not me, that's for sure.

"So we find our lockers and after that hang out in the cafeteria?" I asked and she nodded.

I went off to find my locker and funny thing was it was right next to Delaware's locker. Yay me! Note the sarcasm. There is a bright side though. I know what you're thinking. My locker is right next to my brother's locker so how can there even be a bright side? Well someone who I ride the bus with is on the other side of me. How great is that?! Now that wasn't sarcasm.

"Okay my stuff is put away." I said. I'm pretty sure Delaware thought I was talking to him because he haven't seen me talking to anyone since well the accident.

"Me too. Let's go to the cafeteria." Jade said.

Jade and I hooked arms and started to walk to the cafeteria. I turned my head around just to see Delaware's reaction. Sure enough it was priceless.

After talking for about thirty minutes we headed to our class.

"Okay class, my name is Mrs. Daniels and I'll be your English teacher. I hope you had a good summer." The teacher said.

We worked on writing a paragraph about our summer. All Jade and I did was talk. Well Jade is now a reason why I'm going to get bad grades.

Soon, but not soon enough it was lunch time. I got my disgusting, school food and sat at a table. After three minutes Jade came. Two minutes later Delaware came.

"You guys look almost exactly alike." Jade said.

"Yeah. That's what they call twins." Delaware said in a 'duh' voice.

"Del, that is rude. She is my first friend I've ever had." I said.

Delaware had a shocked face that I believe was from me never talking yet I had a friend.

"Since when did you talk?" Delaware asked.

"Since this morning on the bus." I said as I stuffed my face with food.

"You guys are weird. I love weird!" Jade said.

"Good because that's all we are." Delaware said.

Soon the bell rung and we went to our last three classes.

"Okay, let's sit together on the bus. I'm going to your house. period." Jade said.

"Ugh. Fine." I said.
