Jess's P.O.V
Have you ever felt the feeling as if you're flying? Because I have. Almost like sky diving, but you dont have an adrenaline rush feeling. It's almost like I've done this a hundred times before.
My mostly black hair shoots up towards the sky, as I go to the ground. The hospital has at least 20 stories, and I'm near the top. I expected impact faster than it came.
My life started flashing before my eyes as I fell, the few good memories, and all the bad ones.
~flashback~
(3rd Person)
"Mommy! Daddy! Look at me!" She exclaimed. She had just turned 5 last week and was to start kindergarden next year.
My parents looked over at the child, who was happily swinging on the swing set at the park they were so familiar with.
They lived in a friendly neighborhood with many children to play with.
"Look at you baby!" Her mother said with an encouraging voice. Her mother had beautiful blonde hair that went to her mid back, and sparkling blue eyes that made the sky look dull.
"Look! Look how high I'm swinging!" The girl giggled as she continued to swing higher, and higher.
"Be careful darling," her father warned, but in a soothing way. Her father had chocolate brown hair, and matching eyes.
Both her parents were fairly tall. Her mother had a slim figure with high set cheek bones and makeup that made her look natural and beautiful. Her father had a decent build, with broad shoulders and had a clean shave on his face, leaving no trace of hair.
Jessica had a creamy brown hair color and dashing bright green color, which would later change. Her hair was up in pigtails and she had a hint of freckles on her face. She had a bright smile that could light up New York city during a black out.
Jessica, ignoring her father, swung higher and higher. The old swing set, creaking with every move, creaked louder as she swung higher.
Suddenly, one of the chains snapped in mid air, sending her flying off the swing. She screamed as she flew through the air. Her parents ran to her side when she landed.
She had broken her arm when she landed.
Luckily, it wasn't that bad, but being a five year old, it seemed like the end of the world.
"Jessica, baby, it's not that bad. Come on let's go get some ice cream yeah?" Her mother asked, with a slightly worried tone.
Jessica nodded as they walked out side to go get ice cream.

Jessica had just turned 8, and just started third grade.
