This is it. I need to find that human. Welp, better start walking. I can't go home wingless! I don't even know where I am!
Damn it. My stomach starts to rumble. Well, it's been a few days since I last ate. Need to find something to eat. For the past few days, I survived by drinking fresh water that I found. But, drinking's not enough for an empty stomach.
I searched for food. Scavenged for a meal. While walking weakly, I found a river. Then, came out a gigantic fish from the fresh water.
My heart was filled with joy as soon as I saw the gigantic fish. But, well, it didn't last long.
I thought that I'm going to have a feast this evening. UNTIL, a monstrous bird flew down from the sky and snatched my meal. My hope was crushed.
That evening, I can't hold my hunger anymore. I was exhausted. Without my strength, I fell down. I kissed the earth unwillingly. I blacked out for a moment.
Suddenly, I felt somebody's touching me. The person was trying to wake me up. I opened my amethyst eyes and saw; an elf?
The elf have a pair of green crystal eyes. A dark brown hair while wearing a casual elf hat.
"Are you alright?" He asked me. He looks concerned for me.
"I saw you fell down. You fainted didn't you?"
"Yes, actually I did." I answered him.
"I'm hungry. Do you have any food?" I asked him.
"Oh, I do have some food. Here have some of my bread." He handed me a piece of bread from his leather bag. I ate it. It was delicious.
"Thank you so much. I appreciate it." I thanked him.
"It's nothing. Come on, let's get back to the Elves Village. What are you doing here anyway?" He replied to me and ask him to return to his village. Elves Village? I've never heard about this place before- I am a city fairy. How should I know about a tiny place like this?
"Actually, I'm a fairy." I explained to him. Maybe he taught that I'm an elf because I've lost my wings.
"Haha! You're really funny! Of course you're an elf! You don't have wings, silly!" He said to me while laughing. He taught that I was joking.
"My name's Emerald. What's your's?" He told me his name and asked me what my name is. Emerald, suits his eyes.
"Is your name Amethyst?" He tried to guess my name. I giggled.
"No. Actually, my name is Sankriasi." I told him my name. He just saved me from starving so I should believe in him.
"Really? Your name is really similar to a fairy's name." He commented.
"It's because I'm a fairy." I repeat to him. He laughed. What's so funny about it?
"Come on, let's go home." He said and grasped my hand. I was shocked. I pulled my hand back.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. Please have faith in me." He said with a worried face.
"I-it's ok-kay." I stuttered. I just met him. How am I supposed to be calm?
We walked down a dirt path. Silence is all I heard for the last few minutes. We didn't talk much. Then, I saw a sign; 'Elves Village'. We're here. And just to notify you, fairies don't always get along with the elves. And fairies are forbidden to step a foot on an elves area. So, I stood there for a while. I was worried. What if they find out that I am a fairy? I'll be captured!
"Why are you standing like a log over there? Come on!" Emerald said as he insisted me to walk into the village.
"B-but I d-don't have a h-house here! A-and I'm a fairy! Fairies and e-elves shouldn't g-get along!" I said with a shaky voice. Emerald looked at me with an awkward face. Then, he sighed.
"Sankriasi, do you have any wings?"
"N-no I don't h-have my w-wings yet."
"Do you have magic?"
"Yes I do."
"Then we're done. Elves have magic too you know. We just don't use it often and we don't have your magical wands." He replied. I don't believe elves have magic. I think it's just an excuse so that he can drag me into the village.
"It will be fine." He said with a gentle smile. Somehow it calms me. It really does.
"Okay. I guess it will be fine." I said hesitantly.
My first step into an elves's village. It felt....light. Emerald looked at me. I blushed. What is this feeling?! I dislike it very much!
"Please, come in to my house. I insist." He insisted me to come into his house.Welp, I believed him.
"Since you insisted." I said while shrugging.
I stepped into his house. It's really cozy.
"Have a seat." He told me. I took a seat on a green sofa. Then I thanked him.
Suddenly, I heard a loud clang in the kitchen. There were two other elves. They came out of the kitchen.
"Emerald!""You're home!" Said the two lovely elves. The first elf looks a bit older than the other one.
"Mom, Sis, meet Sankriasi. I found her near the river." Emerald explained to them.
"Ouh, so you're a newbie! Please make yourself at home! My name is Saphire and this is my daughter, Manikam! We are very glad that you're here!" She said to me.
"We don't get visitors often." Manikam said with a gentle yet sweet smile while holding my hand. Her hands were very soft. Manikam have yellow crystal eyes and light brown hair. She also wear a necklace. It has a pearl on it. Saphire's eyes were blue crystal and she have a black straight hair. They were all beautiful. I told them my name.
"I wonder. Why would anybody put Sankriasi as a name for you? I think Amethyst is better. I love your purple amethyst eyes and your golden hair." Manikam complimented me.
"Gee, thanks! I think you'll need to ask my mom about my name" I giggled. They laughed.
They invited me for dinner. Saphire and Manikam was busy baking a cake. They left me with Emerald, making me feel awkward.
"Hey Sankriasi."
He called me.
"Yes?" I answered him.
"What's that on your left hand palm?" He asked me. Now I realized that I forgot. I was cursed.
"U-uh.... Nothing.." I said, denying what he asked me.
"Really?"
"Uhuh."
"You don't want to talk about it?"
"Nope."
"Fine then."
We had our dinner. It was delicious. The strawberry cake was absolutely lovely. There were many other pastries. We had a noisy chat. Maybe other villagers who walked by will hear us. Haha!
It was in the middle of the night. They let me stay as long as I need. I putted my head on the soft pillow. I shut my eyes and I instantly fall asleep.
