Maddie's P.O.V Sankriasi's been missing for a week. I'm really worried for her. Where is she? What happened to her? Is she alright? Ugghhh.... Questions running through my mind. What if something bad happened? And I'm not there?! Ughhh... Alright, take a deep breath, Maddie.. She will be fine. She's a big girl! There must be a reason. And I'll wait for her no matter how long! I know she'll return.
Sankriasi's P.O.V At last, the moon showed up. The sky turned black. And the stars start to shine brightly. Emerald and I are very tired. We decided to rest for the night. There's no nearby town around here so we just lay down beside a huge tree. "Hey, Sankriasi." He called me. "Yeah?" "Can you sing?" He asked me. "Gee, I don't know.. I never tried because my mom really like silence so I only hear songs." "Really? You never tried?" "It's true." "Well, why don't you sing now? I would like to hear a song right now." "But, even I don't know if I can sing!" "Try." "I guess it won't hurt." (Play the song on top!) I sang what I'm feeling right now. Emerald seem amused. That's the first time I sing for someone. Maddie's not interested with music. We faced the sky. "Your voice is beautiful." He complimented. "Tell me, is there any hidden messages in the song you sang?" He asked me. Somehow I'm pretty shocked with his question this time because there is a hidden message. "Actually, since I'm sick, I think death is infront of me." I said. "What are you talking about?! Don't say things like that!" I giggled. "Wanna hear me sing?" "Sure. Why not?" "But... You need to sing with me." "A duet? What song?" "Safe and Sound." He replied. "Fine. I know the lyrics." "Good then." He answered.
We sing it beautifully. His voice is pretty great actually. No, it's AMAZING. We sang through the night. The stars twinkle. As we sing, we slowly close our eyes. Slowly... slowly... and... we fell asleep on the ground.
Emerald's P.O.V It's morning. Last night was a blast. Sankriasi's still asleep so I think I should figure out which way to go. I examined the map. It looks like we need to go straight north. She's still in a deep sleep. I woke her up. "Hey, it's already morning. Wake up!" I shouted a bit. She opened her beautiful eyes. "*yawn* Good morning.." she said in a lazy voice while stretching her arms. "Come on, let's go!" "What about breakfast?" "Here, have a bread." I gave her a butterscotch bread. She thanked me and ate the bread. "What are you eating?" "Well, I guess I'm not eating since someone's eating my food." I said and gave her a smirk. "WHAT? THIS IS THE ONLY BREAD YOU GOT? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?!" She said with a panicked voice. Her face is so sweet when she did that. "Ughh.. I think I have some cookies. Just.. give me a minute.." She said while browsing her bag. "Ahh! Here you go!" She handed me a chocolate chip cookie. I thanked her. It's pretty good actually. We walked through the forest. Sankriasi keeps talking about a woman called Maddie. She said that Maddie is her mother. I wonder how she looks like. She must be pretty like her daughter. Sankriasi's voice was very delightful last night. She sang like an angel! I mean a true fairy. She told me that she's still sick. She don't want to take any medicines though. What a stubborn fairy. She said that the medicines can't fix her. We talked all along the journey. We stopped the second we saw a sign. 'Welcome to the Main Center". We're here! We made it! There were so many creatures in this city. There were gnomes, trolls and many other creatures. We stopped by a motel. Rent for a day. We took two rooms so we could have our own space.
