Sasuke x Reader (COMPLETED)

The night of the murder.

Your POV

"Sasuke! You're so immature," I rolled my eyes. I grabbed the kunai from his hand. "That's dangerous," I told him. He rolled his eyes. "Hey, where is Itachi?" you asked Sasuke.

Sasuke's expression then turned from happy to serious in an instant. "He's in his room, but he seems a bit... distant. Maybe you can talk to him. And please help him, he's my brother," Sasuke told me. I stared at him for a second and his eyes held so much worry for his brother. I nodded, and walked over to Itachi's room.

I lightly knocked on the door. "Ita, it's me (name)," I said, walking in. Itachi was sitting on his bed, his head down. He was sniffling a bit. "Itachi? Are you alright?" I asked. He's obviously not okay... I walked over to him and sat next to him on the bed. "Hey, i'm your bestfriend you can talk to me," I reassured him.

"(Name), there's something I need to tell you, and if I don't tell you now I won't ever be able to tell you," Itachi told me. I nodded. "Tell me."

He looked up, facing me. He stared right at me. "(Name), I really like you, and we've been friends forever, and I might just love you," he said. My eyes widened in suprise. He likes me back? "But my village comes first before everything, (name).. I need to do something very dangerous tonight but it's all for the leaf. But you need to promiss, you won't ever tell Sasuke about my reasons for what i'm about to do," Itachi told me. "Ita, what do you mean? What are you about to d-"

I was cut off my Itachi's soft lips touching mine. That was my first kiss... and by my crush. I kissed him back, and he placed his hand on my cheek before pulling away. "Itachi.. please tell me what's going on," I whispered. "I love you," he said. He then got up and walked away as it became night time.

I couldn't sleep at all. I stayed awake in my bed, thinking about Itachi. I decided to get up for a snack. When I walked to the kitchen, I was horrified. I saw both of my parent's bodies on the floor. They both had a kunai to their hearts. Tears flooded down my cheeks as I knelt down by my parents bodies.

The sun began to rise and I was still on the floor by my parent's lifeless bodies. In my pajamas, I slowly got up and went to go check on Sasuke. I went outside and saw noone was out. It was all just dead silence. I then ran over to Sasuke's house, grabbing the key under the mat, and opening the door. I found Sasuke's parents also on the floor. And Sasuke layed right by them. Loud sobs echoed across the room.

"Sasuke..." I whispered. He turned around and saw my tears also. He then got up from the floor and ran towards me, pulling me for an embrace. I hugged him tightly. "Sasuke, my parents were killed too. Do you know who did this?" I asked. The air then grew dead silent and Sasuke pulled away from the hug, looking me straight in the eyes. "It was Itachi."

My eyes widened. "What? How do you know?" I asked, not believing what he said. "Itachi killed my parents infront of me! And when I asked him WHY? DO YOU KNOW WHAT HIS REASON WAS? To test the limits of his abilities! W-what kind of person was my brother to do this?" Tears stung in the corner of Sasuke's eyes. I went up to him and hugged him tighter. "We'll get through this together," I told him.

But for a second, I remembered what Itachi had told me.

"But my village comes first before everything, (name)..  I need to do something very dangerous tonight but it's all for the leaf. But you need to promise, you won't ever tell Sasuke about my reasons for what i'm about to do,"

All I did was hug Sasuke, trying to comfort him the best I could. I don't think it would be safe to tell him what Itachi told me.
