Chapter 14: The Twist

SPOLIER NOTE: So I am seeing a lot of comments about what to do book wise, what I plan to do is have a book of One-Shots of Percy growing up with Tony. Then  have another book with the Avengers and Stevey and whatnot. Also I really love some of the ideas you guys have and plan to use some of them, giving credit of course.

Also bit of Spoiler for chapter: So....I didn't feel like 'killing' Bucky the way the movie had it, I mean he'll still turn into the Winter Soldier, but I think I might make it happen in the One-Shot book. You'll see what I mean later or if you really want to know just Private Message me and I'll tell you.

I ducked closer to Steve as he zip-lined down to the train, the wind blowing through my fur was amazing and I loved it very much.

As soon as we got on the train the others followed not too far. We went toward a ladder on the side where Steve, Bucky, and I were.

Steve set me down once we got in as we looked around, I couldn't help but have a sinking feeling.

I watched for a second as Steve and Bucky moved closer to the door where I finally felt what was wrong, that was after I used the water molecules in the air to 'feel around'.

I warned them with a bark but it was too late, Steve walked through the open door and before Bucky could follow it closed in front of him.

Steve trapped on the other side while Bucky and I were trapped over here. Not only that but I could distantly hear metal getting started before the opposite side of the door was opens to reveal three Hydra soldiers.

They both started to shoot at Bucky but me being the closest to the door, bite on of the two in the leg making him shout and get out of cover where Bucky shot him.

I had to get in cover when the Hydra man shot near me but then shot at Bucky again. I pawed at my ears for a second because of how loud the gun firing was starting to echo.

But pushed it aside for now and focused back on task, which was covering Bucky who seemed to be getting very low on ammo, from what the near clicking tells me anyway.

I bite at one of the last two men and he made the same mistake the first guy did and heard the last shot Bucky had ringing and the drop of the man.

I backed off when my tail almost got stomped and glared at the man, before I could do anything else I heard the door open in front of me and saw Steve throw Bucky a gun.

Before the Hydra man had anytime to react, Steve rushed in and pushed the boxes into the way where the man was standing.

Where Bucky had then shot him. I barked at Steve in greeting and examined if he was okay, which he seemed he was, "I had him on the ropes." Bucky said a little breathless.

"I know you did." Steve said as he pet me once on the head before my attention went somewhere else.

Before either of the two men could react I darted between Steve's leg and jumped on top of two boxes before throwing myself at the door closer thingy.

Just in time it seemed because in that moment the door became very dented (somehow just staying on it's hinges) and a large metal machine was behind it with a large blue tilted gun armor.

Bucky and Steve instantly ducked behind some boxes as I panicked from the fall that I had took to close the door. Landing on my feet with a suppressed wince I scrambled to go toward Steve who was definitely a little breathless as the interruption.

The bottom of my paws were hurting but I ignored them in favor of making sure Steve wasn't actually damaged before the doors were really taken off their hinges by another blast that started with some sort of whirling.

I ducked behind Steve as the giant, especially an enormous giant compared to my size, walked into the room and menacing like.

Steve and Bucky exchanged a look before nodding and Bucky peaked out of his hiding place to shoot at the Monster Machine to gain it's attention before Steve threw his shield at it very hard and knocked it over.

They went over it quickly where Steve raised his shield again and strikes it in it's parts between the head and body, making sparks fly when the head came off.

I tilted my head at it while Steve and Bucky took a minute to get their breath under control from the unexpected attacks that took place.

I stared at the head before grabbing the wire that was sticking out of it's head, the one that attached it to the body, and dragged it over to Steve and Bucky with a wagging tail.

Giving the idea that I wanted to 'play' but really I just wanted to show off how cool it was. I mean it was like a robot! You have to say that, that was pretty dang cool fact.

Steve chuckled a little before grabbing the head, "Souvenir." he said throwing the part of Bucky who just shook his head in amusement.

"Good boy." Steve said rubbing my head before I flopped over for a belly rub. Don't look at me like that! It's very soothing for a dog and I don't want any comments otherwise.

"I think he just saved our life. Now I think we should continue with out mission." Bucky said with a grin as I instantly was back on my feet feeling excitement rise.

"Oh all right." Steve said jokingly as he strapped his shield back to his arm and fell back into 'soldier-mode' and got ready for anything else as we went toward Doctor Zola.
