Chapter 21: Go away, Malfoy.
A beam of light lit up at the tip of Draco's wand, and Draco erased Hermione's memories of what happened since they met in the Shrieking Shack.
Draco lowered his wand and looked at Hermione. Hermione stared at him for a few seconds before glaring at him.
" What the hell, Malfoy? What in Merlin's name am I doing here?" Hermione scowled at Draco before walking away. Draco sighed.
" At least she'll be safe now. No danger can come to her." Draco tried to convince himself as he slowly made his way out of the room.
He saw that Hermione was chatting happily with Ginny and that sight brought a smile to his lips.
Harry, Ron, and Ginny left with Hermione walking alongside them, chatting happily. Draco sighed. He knew what he had to do.
" So we can still be friends, right? Even after I um... you know..." Ron trailed off and Hermione smiled. She knew what Ron was referring to.
" Yes. We're still best friends. You're like my brother to me. I prefer it that way." Hermione said.
The four of them then apparated to the Weasleys' house.
" Hermione! What a pleasure to see you! Come right in! You'll be sharing a room with Ginny." Mrs Weasley said as she gave Hermione a hug that Hermione warmly returned.
She had missed the Weasleys so much. Hermione and Ginny went to their bedroom after having a chat with Mrs Weasley.
Out of the blue, a beautiful owl flew into the room and landed on Ginny's shoulder.
The owl's wings were a light silver colour and the owl had a snowy white head, looking like the moon.
Its silver eyes had a tinge of blue in them and Ginny wondered who the owl belonged to.
There was a letter attached to its right foot and Ginny gently detached the letter from the owl's foot.
" It's addressed to me." Ginny said, looking at her name written in green ink on the envelope.
