Chapter 30: But... why?
"I'm here because someone has to set things right." the man in front of Hermione said.
Hermione stared at the man, her feet firmly on the ground, not backing off. She didn't say a word but her cold eyes said everything there was to know.
"But... why? Why do you have to do this?" Ginny asked, stepping in between her best friend and the man.
"I thought you were over Draco and Hermione being together!" Harry shouted. The man laughed and shook his head.
"Pathetic. You two pathetic scum trying to help this mudblood." The man laughed once again.
His laugh was cold and full of evil,unlike the warm laughter that Hermione had once known.
" How dare you... and I can't believe I was once in love with you." Hermione glared at the man while she spat the words like venom.
" Yes... you were in love with me. That's why I have to set things right. You and Draco were never meant to be." Ron sneered.
