Chapter 2: Jeremy

Another hour until they reach the cabin. Jeremy's legs were beginning to become stiff. He stared a Sophie, its been long since he saw Sophie sleep cutely like that. Then Jeremy concentrated on the road again. Then after a few minutes.

" Rise and shine guys, we're almost there " Jeremy woke up the two girls.

Sophie slowly opened her eyes, meanwhile Jasmine was still asleep and still listening to her music.

" Jasmine, hey, wake up! " Jeremy tried once again.

Jasmine woke up, she heard her brothers voice even though her ears were plugged by ear phones.

" Jeremy, you didn't have to shout " Sophie told Jeremy.

" Sorry " Jeremy apologized.

Then Jeremy was starting to follow this gravel road, and he parked it on an area of gravel found on the middle of the woods.

" Okay everybody out " Jeremy ordered.

They all removed their seatbelts and went down the car. The slamming of the doors and the crunching of Jeremy's boots at the gravel became significant in the boring silence of the woods.

" Dude, you didn't ell me that your family's cabin is found in the woods " Sophie said in amazement.

" And it's near a lake too " Jeremy added.

" But, where's the cabin? " Sophie asked.

" Follow me " Jeremy said with a smile on his face.

They followed another gravel pathway, and Sophie started to talk to Jeremy, while Jasmine simply follows them and listening to her music.

" Hey, I think you need to talk to your sister " Sophie said.

" She's like that since the time we graduated " Jeremy replied.

" Did you guy argue or something? " Sophie asked.

" No of course, I didn't even do anything to her! " Jeremy said with a higher tone.

" Shhh, she might hear you " Sophie tried to calm Jeremy.

" She's wearing earphones " Jeremy said while rolling his eyes.

" Still, just lower your voice " Sophie pressed her point.

" Okay, sorry " Jeremy apologized.

The Jeremy saw the cabin and he doubled his pace.

" We're near, let's hurry up " Jeremy said.

Then they reached the cabin and Jeremy stood at the three-stepped stair of the cabin while facing Sophie.

" And~, this is the cabin " Jeremy introduced.

It was a fine log cabin, too fine that it didn't quite look like a simple, old, retarded and dusty old cabin. It was beautifully designed and was taken good care that it was still clean.

" Its awesome " Sophie said in amazement.

" Can I go inside? " Jasmine asked permission.

" Sure, besides you already know where your room is " Jeremy told Jasmine.

Then Jasmine proceeded. Then Jeremy suddenly grabs Sophie's arm.

" Come with me " Jeremy said.

" Wha-? Where? " Sophie asked.

" Trust me " Jeremy said.

Jeremy leaded Sophie into another gravel pathway. Shortly they arrived at the lake near the cabin.

" Voila! " Jeremy said as he revealed the view of the lake to Sophie's eyes.

" Its beautiful " Sophie said.

Sophie liked the view so much that she became speechless.

" Yeah, beautiful like you " Jeremy slowly replied.

" What? " Sophie asked.

Jeremy slipped, he panicked and made up a lie.

" Oh nothing~. I didn't say anything " Jeremy nervously said.

" Okay " Sophie replied.

" I think we have to go back now " Jerwny said.

" Why? " Sophie asked.

" I think my friends are here " Jeremy said.

" Woah! Wait a sec! You invited our friends? " Sophie asked with the "quite-pissed" tone.

" Well I forgot to tell you that I invited them " Jeremy explained.

Hey both started to move and doubled their pace as they made their way back to the cabin.
