Chapter 16- Sophie
Sophie joined her hands together, thinking of what to do next. Is she really going to confess her feelings for Jeremy directly or not yet. She twirled her fingers around at each other, palms rubbing smoothly at each other. She bit her lips as her minds got jumbled up by all the thoughts she was having. The screen door behind her opened.
" Here's your coffee " Jeremy said as he was carrying two cups.
Jeremy sat beside Sophie again and settled her cup beside her.
" Thanks " Sophie answered as she picked up the cup,
Sophie sniffed the aroma which the coffee released, and saw a heart shape made of milk.
" You made this? " Sophie asked while her other hands was pointing towards the heart of milk.
" Yeah " Jeremy asnwered.
" How did you make this? " Sophie asked.
" I'll teach you tomorrow " Jeremy said with a wink.
They became silent. Sophie sipped the creamy coffee while watching the stars.
" What did you really wish for? " Jeremy Suddenly asked.
Sophie choked, her chest became heavy and painful.
" Hey! You okay?! " Jeremy stood up and patted Sophies back.
" Ye- * cough * Yeah " Sophie answered.
" Drink slowly will ya, you're gonna choke yourself to death " Jeremy told Sophie.
" Sorry " Sophie replied.
Sophie stood up, her faced darkened.
" I'm going to bed, feeling not quite well. Thanks for the coffee " Sophie said.
Sophie slowly walked away, leaving Jeremy alone on the cabins staircase.
