Seasons: Summer (Chapter 11- Sophie)

Chapter Eleven: Sophie

Sophie couldn't move, she was like glued in place as she felt the warmth of Jeremy's lips. Her tongue started to move with its own. As she struggled to stop her tongue, the zipper opening of the tent opened. Both of them seperated and looked away from each other.

" Hey guys " Naomi greets as she appeared from the opening.

" Hi Naomi " Sophie greeted.

Sophie saw in Naomi's eyes that she smelled something happened.

" Did I disturb you guys on something or what? " Naomi asked.

Sophie and Jeremy faced each other as they heard Naomi. Sophie gave that " pretend-nothing-happened " look at Jeremy and Jersey faced away again.

" Na we just woke up actually " Sophie made up.

" Oh okay, anyways, let's go back to the cabin we cooked already and we're only waiting for you guys

" Naomi explained.

" Okay, we'll catch up " Sophie answered. Then Naomi left, leaving Jeremy and Sophie in awkward silence.

" Look, let's just preten nothing happened and Sir for being stubborn " Sophie said.

" Its okay " Jeremy answered.

Sophie's eyes were beginning to become teary.

" I'm gonna go out and get some fresh air " Sophie said.

Jeremy didn't answer, and Sophie stood up and went outside. She walked in the gravel path

towards the lake. Tears dripped down the eyes of Sophie. Thinking that she stole the kiss that was meant to be given to Jeremy's love. As she arrived at the shore of the lake, Sophie got down her knees and cried the pain that she felt inside.

" What were you doing back there? " Sophie asked herself while pulling her hair.

Then she felt something touch her hands.

" Stop " a familiar voice whispered softly.

Sophie jerked her head and saw Jeremy. Sophie remained silent, unable also to move.

" Let's go back to the cabin, shall we? " Jeremy invited with that smile.

Sophie stood up still facing the ground as she began following Jeremy back to the cabin. They continued walking, Sophie remained silent as the woods itself.
