Seasons: Summer (Chapter 4- Jeremy)

Chapter 4: Jeremy

Jeremy couldn't think of something while being under pressure that Sophie might not forgive her, Jeremy looked around, hoping to have something to help him to make Sophie forgive him. He suddenly saw a bush where daisies were blooming, he picked six flowers and went back to Sophie. He went in front of Sophie and sat down also.

" Hey, sorry " Jeremy apologized with a smile on his face.

Sophie stared at him.

" Just tell me next time before we go on a trip " Sophie said.

" Okay " Jeremy replied.

Then Jeremy remembered something. He gave the flowers to Sophie.

" What's this for? " Sophie asked.

" Happy Birthday " Jeremy replied.

Sophie drew a weak smile on her face.

" You think I would forget the birthday of the most awesome cosplayer? " Jeremy pulled up a line to make Sophie laughed.

Sophie laughed indeed.

" Thank you " Sophie said with a bright smile.

" By the way, we'll sleep later outside, we're gonna do some camping " Jeremy told Sophie.

" That's fine by me " Sophie answered.

" Even though were gonna sleep on one tent? " Jeremy added a question.

" Yeah sure, why not? " Sophie replied.

" Then if that's the case, let's go back to the cabin and fix our things " Jeremy explained.

" Okay " Sophie answered.

Jeremy assisted Sophie to stand up as he stood up first. Then they began walking back to the cabin, suddenly while walking Jeremy opened a new conversation.

" By the way, where will you go after the summer period? " Jeremy asked.

" My parents wants me to find a job at New York, and maybe I'll live there permanently " Sophie answered.

Jeremy became silent, Sophie's word hit like a knife as they entered Jeremy's ears.

" How about you? " Sophie suddenly asked.

" I think I'll go to San Diego with my friends, there I'll be a musician and writer in a specific recording studio, even though my parents will not allow me " Jeremy explained.

Jeremy felt heavier as he told Sophie of what are his plans. He didn't want to tell anyone, especially his parents. He was forbiddened  by his parents to become a musician and writer. But Jeremy will push his dreams through, that's Jeremy, stubborn. After a couple of minutes they were already near the cabin.

" I guess we are really getting seperated huh? " Sophie said in a low voice.

Jeremy patted Sophie's head gently and gave her a smile.

" We're still gonna be friends right? " Jeremy said.

Jeremy's heart felt sudden pain as he said those words, he wanted to kill himself. He was trying to stop his eyes from spilling tears. Jeremy continued walking.
