Seasons: Summer (Chapter 12- Jeremy)

Chapter  Twelve- Jeremy

Jeremy sat beside Sophie and Jasmine and ate with Jeremy's friends. They ate silently, so as Jeremy's friends. His friends knew something happened because it was obvious from how both of them behave.

" Dude you sure nothing happened to you guys? " Naomi asked confusingly.

Sophie faced Naomi.

" Yeah " Sophie awkwardly answered.

Then all of them continued to eat. Sophie remembered the time when She and Jeremy kissed, she felt unease and uncomfortable, embarrassed. She stood from her seat, carrying her empty plate with the stains of the bacon strips that she ate. She placed them in the sink and she turned the knob of the sink. As water was pouring out, Sophie began to wash the plate she used.

" You need help with those? " a voice appeared her back.

Sophie faced the direction where the voice came from, and saw Jeremy.

" Yeah, sure " Sophie answered.

Jeremy slowly walked towards her and began helping her with cleaning the dishes.

" Look, sorry if I became so stubborn- " Jeremy attempted to say.

"  Can we talk? I mean, later? " Sophie interrupted 

" Sure, what time? " Jeremy asnwered confusingly.

" Eleven o' clock " Sophie said.

Sophie couldnt believe she just invited jeremy to talk to her, and have a private time to confess her feelings. She was feeling nervous, nervous if she already have enough courage to tell the truth. 

" Guys! Who wants some?! " Tom shouted at as he raised three bottles beer and has one of his foot on top of a cooler.

" Isnt this too early to drink? Like its 10 o' clock " Naomi answered.

Jeremy walked away from Sophies side and walked to Tom, and faced his friends.

" I guess, a little drink aint so bad " Jeremy Said with a giggle.

" Then its settled, lets have some fun~! " Tom shouted out as he made his way out of the cabin.

Sophie finished washing every dish that was in the sink as the group got out of the cabin. As she was wiping her hands, she thought if she too could have a little drink.
