Chapter 3- Sophie
Jeremy and Sophie returned to the cabin. Jeremy met his friends and talked to them just outside of the cabin. Sophie was laying on the couch, she was angry at Jeremy for not telling her that he will bring his friends. Sophie grabbed her diary which was under the couches pillow and opened it to a blank page, she wiped the rough surface and began writing.

Dear diary, February 3 , 2013
My time with Jeremy is now ruined, COMPLETELY. At first I was fine that she brought her sister, but now he invited his friends without me knowing? I can't let this slide, childhood friends aren't supposed to hide secrets. I am so pissed because my birthday wish of having time with Jeremy so that I can confess my feelings is destroyed.

She slammed her diary closed and hid it again under the couches pillow. She kept laying while listening to Jeremy and his friends, of how they were enjoying little chit-chats.
" I was the one supposed to make him enjoy or laugh like that " Sophie sighed as she murmured these words to herself.
Sophie stood up and made her way to the door, then she went outside the cabin. As she was passing by the group, Jeremy noticed her walking by.
" Hey, Sophie " Jeremy called her attention.
Sophie ignored her and continued on walking towards the lake.
" Jeremy you stupid-! Uhggrr! " Sophie murmured to herself in irritation as she walked away from the group.
After a short walk, Sophie reached the lakes shore, she sat on the ground in a position where her legs where close to her chest and her chin is resting on her knees.Suddenly gravel behind her crunched and Sophie jerked her head. She saw Jeremy standing, she ignored him and turned her view back to the water.
" Hey " Jeremy called Sophie with that sorry tone.
Sophie kept ignoring him and focused on viewing the lakes beauty and savouring its calming silence.
