Thank you all so much!

Now here's some feels (the good kind).

~~~
A child sits up in their coffin, marveling at their own existence. They feel the hard wood box underneath them, smell the almost overwhelming scent of buttercups, and stare at the miracles standing before them. Their best friends.
    Chara stands, and the other two are still too shocked to move. They hold onto the casket, their legs shaking with nerves and disuse. Chara bites their lip, having a million things to say and not knowing how to say even any of them. Finally, they speak with a nervous laugh and smile.
    "Greetings."
    Asriel breaks from his spell first. Crying and grinning like an idiot, he runs up and tackles Chara in a hug. With Chara's unstable legs they almost fall, but Asriel picks Chara up in his arms and they stay upright. They bury their faces in each others shoulders.
    "Chara I-"
    "Asriel-"
    "I'm so sorry-"
    "No, I'm the one who's sorry."
    "I missed you, so much." Asriel lifts their face in his paws.
    Chara smiles up at him, then looks down at his necklace. They hold it up. It's a perfect match to their own.
    "After all this time. . ." They laugh once, and wrap their arms around him again.
    They stayed like that for a long moment. Then they reluctantly broke apart and Chara looked to their savior.
    Frisk stood a little ways away, a giddy smile lighting their lovely features. They were a mess, with dirt smearing their hands and face, hair tangled and matted, and clothes torn and rumpled. But they seemed to glow once Chara caught sight of them and waited for them to approach first.
    Chara let go of Asriel's hand and made their way slowly to Frisk. Face flushed, Chara held out their hand. Frisk took it gently and studied it with wonder. They were silent for a minute, and then Frisk spoke.
    "Nice to meet you, partner."
    Caught off guard by the pet name they had for one another before, Chara stuttered. "Y-You too. Heh, guess you kept your promise after all." They held up their joined hands.
    Frisk squeezed theirs, then looked down at their feet, sheepish. "Can- Can I hug you?"
    Chara looked surprised for a moment, then laughed happily and nodded. Frisk slowly wrapped their arms around them, as if Chara were still the fragile spirit they once were. But now, with their body and soul back, they could hang onto their other best friend in the entire world and never let go. Chara gripped Frisk tightly, and buried their head into their shoulder. Frisk, after a moment's hesitation, did the same.
    Frisk broke away first. "We probably need to start heading back. Toriel and Asgore and everyone else are probably starting to worry. But first-" They stepped back to pick out the bouquet of flowers they had picked a little while ago. They split them in two, and walked to both Chara and Asriel and gave them one of the bouquets. " For you." They said, and then seemed to suddenly become shy. A bright blush colored their cheeks, and they wouldn't look Chara in the eyes.
    Asriel and Chara both were touched by this gesture, and their hearts filled with love for this little miracle, the one that saved their lives. They looked at each other and smiled, an idea coming to both their minds. They each took one flower from the bunch. Asriel went first, and tucked the little flower behind Frisk's ear. Chara did the same on their other side, letting their hand rest on Frisk's cheek for a moment, before stepping back.
    Frisk was silent, seeming to be remembering something. Then Frisk looked up at the two in wonder, like they had no idea what they did to deserve this, them, when in reality they did everything. Chara didn't hesitate; they wrapped their arms around Frisk again, and pulled Asriel into the hug as well. The trio stayed like that for a long time, reveling in the warmth and comfort of being held by someone they thought to never touch again, or ever. Asriel's guilt over the many sins he committed while trapped in Flowey was soothed for this moment. Frisk's tired heart and battle-worn body felt alive again from knowing that they had helped two of their many new friends. Though, Chara and Asriel didn't feel like the kind of friends the others were. Frisk wasn't sure, because they had never felt real friendship before they fell, but they thought maybe they had finally found the best friends they were searching for. And Chara, they felt as if the past didn't matter anymore.
    They knew that wasn't true. One night, Chara would fall back again into the memories that gave them nightmares and pain that scarred more than just their heart. They knew there'd be night where tears wouldn't come anymore because they had cried them all out. But somehow, their arms around the two people they love the most, they had the strangest feeling that everything could be okay.
    When they finally broke apart with tearful smiles, it was Asriel who brought up going back again. "I hope Mom and Dad aren't too scared to see us, Chara." He said nervously.
    Frisk took his hand. "Asriel, don't worry. They'll be thrilled!"
    Chara went to walk beside them, but their legs shook and they fell on their knees.
    "Chara?" Frisk asked worriedly, falling to their knees beside them.
    "I'm okay," They replied breathlessly. "Just a little . . . unsteady."
    Frisk took their hand in theirs. They took Chara's arm and wrapped it around their shoulders, and theirs around Chara's back. They stood up together, slowly.
    "Is this okay?" Frisk asked.
    Chara's already pink cheeks blushed red. They nodded and looked to Asriel, remembering another day when another friend helped them up. He smiled at the two, remembering as well. He came to their side and took their other hand. The trio began the journey back, to their new home, together at last.
