The duo kept walking, the burning building long gone behind them, not even the smoke could be seen "M'lady, what is the plan now? If you don't mind me asking." Sebastian finally spoke up "We are heading back to London, from there we will get back my mansion."She stated as if it was obvious "Your mansion, miss?" He spoke, light confusion was sensed in his words. The girl sighed "My name is (Y/N) Phantomhive, the rightful heir to the Funtom Company, due to a birth defect I was tossed aside and forgotten by my family, one of their head maids whom was to bring me to the London orphanage hid me away in a cabin not to far from my parents mansion, she raise me till I was 6, word had gotten to my parents and the maid was fired and I never saw her again. So I headed to London to make something of my self, and I was kidnapped by those people that you killed in that building, I have been their for about 2 years. I had overheard some of the adults say how my family was murdered and my mansion burned down, but the contract to the company was handed over to someone, I need that contract." She finished with a sigh. "Miss... You said you had a birth defect, may I ask what it is?" Sebastian's curiosity was peaked "I order you to keep this a secret!" She spun around and looked up at him "As you wish M'lady" He bowed lightly only for the girl to grab the collar of his tailcoat, bringing him down to her level and whispered the secret into his ear "Oh my." He mumbled to himself as she let him go "I understand now miss." He nodded slightly "Also... word had gotten around when my mother was pregnant with me, they told the people I was to be a boy... so that is how I must look now, to not arouse any suspicion." She turned back around and kept walking.
The streets of London where silent, it was early in the morning and the sun had not risen yet, A few stray cats could be seen chasing mice, even a few orphaned children were running around, what caught the girls eye was an elder man, he had gray hair, a mustache, his hair was combed back and he had a monocle on his right eye, he was writing away in a little journal "Excuse me sir... May I have a word? It will only take a moment of your time." She spoke up while walking up to the elder gentlemen "Why of course sir, how may I help you?" The man asked while putting away his journal into his coat pocket "Sorry to be a bother, but would you have any idea of what might have happened to the Funtom companies contract? I heard the original owner has died and it was handed over to someone else." She gave him a pleading look, Sebastian held his stoic face, but inside he was shocked at how blunt his new master could be "Why yes I do know, but I see no reason to tell a young lad like yourself. Pardon if I came off rude." He finished "I understand, I just wished to know, so that I knew it was in good hands is all sir, the companies very close to my heart and I would hate for it to go into the wrong hands and be ruined." She shrugged "Trust me young man, the company is in very good hands, it is close to my heart as well and I would hope who has the contract would never soil the reputation of the Phantomhive name." He stated "If that is all, I must be on my way." He tipped his hat and turned to leave "Pardon me sir, but that pin you are wearing on your coat? I believe it rightful belongs to the head Butler to the Phantomhives, am I right?" She looked at him with a light smirk "Yes, you are correct, but how would you know?" He turned back to her "Because the maid that raised me told me about it in vivid detail, I am going to also guess, you hold the contract to the Funtom Company as well, seeing as Phantomhives only ever trust the head butler or their marriage partners with such secrets." She held her hand out, her palm facing him "Please hand me the contract, sir." She held a stoic expression on her face "Was the maid named Muriel?" He asked "Yes." She answered without hesitation "Than this does rightfully belong to you, Miss Phantomhive." He smiled at her, reaching into his coat pocket and taking out a folded up piece of paper, handing it over to her "So you know?" She asked taking the paper and unfolding it "Yes, I was outside when your mother had you, I was also the one that handed you over to Muriel and gave her to instructions you father gave me to take you to the orphanage here in London." He stated walking away again "Wait!" She ran up to him After looking over the paper making sure it was indeed the contract "I still need you to be the butler of my new mansion, and teach him everything it means to be a Phantomhive butler." She pointed to Sebastian.
While Tanaka was gathering the things needed for her new home (Y/N) had Sebastian create a whole new mansion, exactly like the old one, he had stolen the original blue prints to do so and had it completed in less than 4 hours, the old burned mansion could be seen from a secret room on the farthest side of the mansion. Once everything was done and the manor was furnished (Y/N) roamed its halls making mental notes as to not get lost while Tanaka gave her demon brief lessons on being a butler, she made it clear to Tanaka that her secret of her birth defect had to be hidden, even from any new servants.
"This will do for now..." She sighed as Sebastian got her ready for bed "It's is all we have at the moment miss." He stated as he buttoned up he night shirt, two sizes to big, it went just past her knees and would fall off her shoulders easily. "While I sleep I want you to go look for some servants, but I want servants that can protect this manor as well as me." She stated "That is an order." He finished buttoning her shirt and bowed "Yes, my mistress." With that she crawled into her bed and covered herself up as her demon when to work.
