Sorry for the late update. Extremely short update.

"Who invented the cold!" I shivered to myself as we walked around the ice. It was the middle of winter and the Thames river has frozen over starting up the tradition of merchant booths being placed on the thick frozen water as shoppers walked about. The queen had given me orders to investigate a strange murder, a man was found in the water, frozen and according to witness reports a small group of men saw the victim last but no one has found the group.

I slipped around the ice as Sebastian kept his laughter under control. I was freezing, even under my many layers, I wore a basic suit and a fuzzy cloak, the one Elizabeth bought me. Ciel matched me but he could actually walk on the ice. "Big brother do you need help?" He spoke softly as I slipped again catching myself on the demons arm before falling "No I'm fine, I just hate today." I grumbled standing straight once more "Why do you hate today?" He grabbed my hand and started walking through the icy road looking at booths "It is cold, I'd rather be home with some hot chocolate and cake reading. Not walking around outside, dealing with other humans." I tightened my hold on his little hand gently.

We ran into Elizabeth and she offered (more like I suggested) to take Ciel off my hands for a little while, while I do my work for Her Majesty. Sebastian and I headed over to the ice competition that had yet to start, a well carved statue stood of an elegant women, there even was a bright blue ring on her finger, the contest was simple, carve something of equal elegance from ice. The judges were talking when a few men showed up making a fuss over the ring, claiming it belonged to them, the judges stated that the winner of the sculpture would get to take the ring, and they were not moving on their rule, the ring could be evidence to my case, I must win it.
