Angelic Pain

Pain... unimaginable pain flooded my body... it was familiar yet not. Darkness surrounded my vision as I heard mumbled screams, I don't know what's going on... I don't remember anything anymore... where was I? What was I doing? Is someone looking for me? Questions upon questions filled my mind but no answers to them. There was a sound... a clanking sound upon metal and more shouts, my body was growing numb as this point as I drifted through the eternal darkness.

I sat up in a panic, it was a nightmare? Maybe a glimpse of a future event I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as a soft groan was heard next to me I looked down to see a ruffle of navy blue hair halo'd around a small head, he looked so peaceful. Just as I moved some strands of hair from his face my door open to show my demon entering with a tray of tea and pancakes "This is a surprise, normally you are still asleep." He spoke smoothly "Nightmare." I yawned as he handed me the newspaper and went to open the curtains "Do you wish to speak about it?" He questioned softly "No. It's fine now." I read over the paper not much going on in London currently. Maybe I get a break from the Queen. "Well you're schedule is surprisingly empty. Other than a few papers you need to look over your day is open." He gave me a quick peck on the cheek before pouring my tea.

That morning went simple. Had breakfast chased Ciel because he refused to take a bath, signed some contracts and now I was sitting in the garden reading to Ciel as he cuddled a recent toy he designed a while ago. It was llama plush of sorts, sturdy feet so it could stand up and made of the fluffiest fabric.

Once done in the garden Finny came by  to check on us and to trim the weeds "Don't go making a mistake Finny! Or Sebastian will punish you." Ciel laughed heartily "Oh I will try young master!" Finny saluted before getting to work "Time to go inside Ciel." I took his hand as we headed in an explosion went off miles away Sebastian showed up instantly to protect us "M'lord London's on fire!" May-rin shouted from the roof where she was just recently cleaning the tiles of the mansion she was pointing out towards London "Big brother what's going on?" Ciel looked up at me with worried eyes "I am not sure. Get inside, Finny forget the garden, take Ciel and get Bardroy and Tanaka." I turned my gaze to the maid "May-rin! Come down and guard the mansion and protect Ciel." Finny grabbed Ciels hands gently "What are you doing M'lord?" He asked softly "Going to go see what's wrong. Come on Sebastian." I spoke and took off towards town.

Once out of sight the demon had picked me up and dashed to London. When we arrived the screams became clear, the scent of ashes and soot obvious in the air, buildings set ablaze as people and animals tried to escape "How upsetting." A smooth voice spoke from above "I was told you were in the first building I burned. But here you are, alive, unharmed and still... in pure." The voice spoke with malice we looked up to see an... angel? "You set London on fire!?" I asked shocked "What reason do you have for that!?" Sebastian placed me down and took a protective stance in front of me "To end your existence of course." He spoke as if it were obvious "May I know why you want me dead?" I scoffed with sass "You are an in pure embodiment of sin that must be cleansed from this world." He waved his wrist as a long sword was summoned, he clenched his hand around the handle.

The moment those words left his mouth he attacked, diving down only to be blocked by Sebastian and his silverware "Get out of my way you fowl creature!" He shouted "Master run." Sebastian looked back at me before pushing the angel away, I spun around and bolted Dow the flamed streets, people telling me I'm going to wrong way, or even getting in my way. I ended up in the center of the flames, I covered my mouth as I ran but my body was stiff and ash had gotten in my mouth as I choked for air. I don't know how many times I was blasted into my side from the angel trying to attack me but Sebastian threw them down near by, I could hear the clatter of metal on metal as they fought.

I collapsed onto my knees from exhaustion as coughs racked through my body, my vision was blurry around the edges and stringed from the soot, my lungs burned and body was unbearably warm, something picked me up and lifted me "You must keep going." His familiar voice spoke "Can't... to much..." I coughed at the end as we landed somewhere he let out a grunt as he laid me down on a cold surface it felt wonderful against my warm skin "Please stay here... it is away from the fires but still not safe with that... thing." He stood and took off again.

A few minutes later and Sebastian was back, he was wounded, he had a gash across his chest and a few cuts on his arm, he stood in front of me to protect me like always, the angel landed a few feet away, unharmed with a look of annoyance "This is growing tiresome, just hand here over demon." He spoke with a wave of his hand "I don't like handing over my food." Sebastian spoke with pure anger "You leave me no choice." The angel shrugged as he moved his wings to back show Ciel.. how did he get here!? On instinct I stood up "Ciel!" I reached out for him "(Y/N)!" He screamed reaching out for me only for the angel to grab the back of his neck to hold him "You don't want your precious adopted baby brother to get hurt right?" The angel glanced at me tightening his hold on Ciel "Let him go! Only cowards use blackmail in a fight!" I shouted as Sebastian held me back "I simply want to rid this world of unsightly creatures like you, and him. That isn't to much to ask for. I will do what ever it takes to snuff sin out of this world!" The angel pick Ciel up by his neck, he whimpered in pain and fear I ripped my eye patch off and tossed it to the wind "End him... that's an order. Whatever the cost, protect Ciel and end that creature." The contract mark shined brightly in the musky flamed air as my words held venom "Yes, M'lady." The demon bleeding head before shooting to the angel in immeasurable speed, the angel tossed Ciel to the side and summoned a blade, Ciel was sent flying as I ran to him, he grabbed onto the edge of the building and screamed for me, I slid across the roof and grabbed his hand "I got you!" I spoke as he looked up at me, he had tears in his eyes "Big sisters got you. Hold on!" I started pulling him up only focused on him I didn't see Sebastian was knocked off the angel and something metallic and sharp stabbed into my back. My body was still weak from running, holding Ciel up was a chore and my grip was loosening due to the wound forming on my back now, whatever it was, started to twist and get pushed in further my mouth was open as no sound came out, Ciel was screaming for me but I could hear him, I let go of him... the pain was to much and he started falling to the flame streets below and my vision blacked out completely.
